Re: F-4B/C FSX
Wow.... All these little holes, you make those with boolean cuts right? Doesn't that make a mess on the mesh? I kinda started avoiding booleans since my early days in gmax... I probably have a severe case of OCD in what comes to 3D meshes... Of course that meant texturing details instead of modeling...

Wow, awesome... You're formation flight is almost flawless... I have problems with mine. My joystick is crap. FSX Realistic glass
Okay, now I'm going to teach you how to make realistic looking glass for FSX simply by using the default properties of FSX materials: I'm using the FSX Patriots Jet Team L-39 as the example. http://i.imgur.com/ejUv5.jpg Now, for start. It's been a while since I posted anything... Oh well, here's my recepie for making cool looking 3D landing light for FSX planes, like this: http://i.imgur.com/Q80a1.jpg I learned this one with Bill Leaming from Eaglesoft. What's the size of the texture sheets? That's some awesome resolution! well duhhh the map for the nose is 4k, and the rear- and midfuselage are 5k  i can always resize it for FS purpose, but I'm most likely gonna remap the whole thing anyway then I was asking about the size in pixel, lol!

Well, the number of polys is the same, right? The only difference is that they're distributed over several "objects" that make up the wing.

FS2004 interior/exterior models aren't compiled separately...
As for FSX aircraft you can grab the vc of an airplane and put it in whatever airplane you want... But you can't mix two VCs.

FS9 Animated textures
FS9 animated textures are quite easy to create: You'll need the animation frames: an image sequence, like a dismanteled GIF. Now, and here's the tricky part: The texture files must have the number of the frame in its file name like so: frame 1 is texturename0000.bmp, frame 2 is texturename0001.bmp a...

Actually, that gives me an idea:
If you link the entire VC to a small cube named c_gear, l_gear or r_gear (before including everything in the interior group) and animate that cube from 150 to 200 frames in a shaking motion, you could recreate that effect in the VC.
