Re: Mouse wheel as throttle
Nobody has answered. As fas as I could analyze this topic, vasfmc directly takes the joystick throttle axle value from Windows XP - i.e. vasfmc does NOT take the throttle value from FS9. How can I overwrite the Windows XP joystick throttle axle value? => I need something like a "virtual joystic...

Re: aileron deflection and vasfmc
Thank you for this video.
I couldn't find the file "LAF.XML". I also couldn't find an option in the vasfmc MCDU that only switches off the bank angle protection.
The only workaround I've found is to reduce the sensitivity of my joystick aileron axle... not really satisfying...

Re: aileron deflection and vasfmc
Please tell me what exactly this is.
Is this really needed for realistic simulation?
How can I deactivate this?
Thank a lot.

aileron deflection and vasfmc
Dear community, when I deflect the ailerons on my PA380 for approx. 50% or greater, the aircraft is rolling not smoothly. I mean when I want to fly a turn, the bank angle does not increase smoothly. My bank angle "jerks". If the ailreon deflection is less than approx. 50% this effect does ...

PA380 VC RMP/Radio gauge for 2D panel?
Dear community, I would like to use the RMP gauge (i.e. the radio gauge) of the A380 virtual cockpit in a 2D panel. Can you please tell me exactly what I need to do to use the RMP gauge in my 2D panel? I can only see parts of this VC gauge in my 2D panel. Textures are missing. Is there a certainly p...

Mouse wheel as throttle
Dear community, Since the resolution of my joystick throttle is not very sufficient i would like to use my mouse wheel for controlling the throttle. I use Windows XP, FS9, PA380 and vasfmc in airbus mode. The thing is: I would like to overwrite the joystick trottle axis with my mouse wheel position ...

XML gauge design questions
Dear community, I have some special XML gauge design questions, can you answer them? 1) How can an XML gauge detect that the auto spoiler (a) / auto brakes (b) is / are automatically activated? Is there another way than just monitoring the spoiler lever position / brake pressure in the XML gauge? So...

Re: A new panel for the A380 2D cockpit
Dear Alain Capt, thank you for presenting & providing your 2D panel. Since I love PA's VC (in conjunction with the gauge version of vasFMC) also during takeoff / landing, I just inserted your EICAS and door gauge into my A380 aircraft. Once again, thanks a lot for your EICAS and door gauges! I h...

Re: Several issues with FS9 PA A380?
Is it possible to provide an update of your model containing mapped areas for the two auto brake indicators and the rectangular area next to the three rotary switches(->see my last post)?
That would be great. I could increase the reality of your wonderful VC.

Re: Several issues with FS9 PA A380?
Dear esg, thank you for your answer. I know how to generally add or move gauges (-> cfg file). However, I didn't see my added brake pressure gauge (I still saw "black"). Maybe I used invalid coordinates when I added my brake pressure gauge. Can you please be so kind and provide me with the...

Re: Several issues with FS9 PA A380?
Dear PA380 developers, I would like to mention two issues of your (great) VC: 1) There are no functioning auto break indicator lights above the gear lever (no light for takeoff arming (->RTO) and no light for active deceleration). There are just two dummy lights (always inactive). 2) There's no brak...

Re: Several issues with FS9 PA A380?
Ok, I've commented out the HUD gauge in the panel.cfg and set "title = Project Airbus A380-862 House F-WWDD ANTEXP VC VASFMCgauges HUDL" in the aircraft.cfg. This didn't fix the problem. FS9 still shows the initialization error message box and crashes. So I didn't try to find another HUD g...

Hello,
1. Yes, this issue occurs with the gauges of PA380.
5. No, this does not help.
9. Yes, that's with vasfmc.
10. Upon clicking, the VC switch for the panel lamps also inverts the switch position/state of the VC switch for the position lighting.
Thanks for your answer.

A380: aileron trim, autopilot
Hello, I've just downloaded the wonderful A380. When I did the first test flights (FS9), I was wondering about the following "issues": 1) No (manual) aileron trim is possible 2a) Autopilot engaged (auto heading, etc. is still disengaged): Only very minor reaction of the plane if stick is o...
