Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus

Since the project has come a long way, how about renaming it to something catchy and more representative? Something like:
"A Free 20" (pun intended)
"Project 32x"
"Free 2x" (yes, again a pun)
"PAFDBK 32x" (initials of the main contributors)
"FFF - Free FiFi"
"Freebus 32x"
"FreeNav A32x"
...etc.

I am to get into negotiations with the AIRAC providers for permission. As far as I know, LittleNavMap (freeware) now comes prepackaged with an AIAC cycle from Navigraph, so chances for success are not the worst. Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus

Great news about the FMC. I'll consider the 2D panels, although I think that the throttle panel can be done away with. Throttles can be controlled with a hardware controller while flaps and spoilers can at least be controlled by keystroke (F5 to F8 or Shift+F5 to Shift-F8). D'accord about the PFD an...

Re: Project FMC simplified for Project Airbus

The engine mode selector (ignition) switch works in the latest fork and is required to start the engines.

Logo lighting (or the switch) has been in the VC for a while.

Making 2D panels adds quite some more work to an already slim time budget. Hence my question.

Have you tried varying the axis name as well? Or are you pretty sure that your flap lever is the controller's Z axis?

Try varying the value behind ":zaxis:", i.e. joystick:0:zaxis:2 to joystick:2:zaxis:2.
