Re: Infinite Flight iOS Flight Simulator, look at the A320..
I was thinking, wow, that model is lot more detailed than the others included in the sim. And then it hit me. I said to myself, I know those engines. I know those cockpit windows. It's not just an A320, it's the Project Airbus A320. Don't know if you all can go after them much. EDIT: uhhh, heh, lol....

Re: SkySpirit2011 747-8 Intercontinental Released
It's makes me laugh when all of the FSX users bitch and complain that something was released for FS9 first. Sort of a sweet revenge for us FS9 die-hards that must suffer through FSX only after FSX only release.

The POSKY CRJ-900 was designed by Nick Wilkinson. Nick has left the FS hobby, and now drives a truck for a living. So, don't look for an FSX update from him anytime soon, or at all.

Re: SkySpirit2011 747-8 Intercontinental Released
You must know that Hiroshi and Yosuke are both residents of Japan. That they released this so soon after the disaster is simply amazing to me. This is because everything with the model was completed prior to the disaster. That being said, you also must know that FSX takes a back seat, with our witho...

Re: My dream
I think the coffee was one of the finer touches actually. That video really blew my mind, and made we wish I had an A320 for a personal jet.
Re: My dream
GEEEEEZUS! Man oh man, if we all had computers that could run a simulator based on that technology...........the MSFS line would be dead! Or at the very least, they could no longer use the "As real as it gets....." moniker. A little criticism, those guys did a freakin' fantastic job, but t...

Re: A320 with double bogies?
I've always wanted to see this as well. However, Air India is the only operator of the double bogies, so to alter a model for just one airline, I understand that it doesn't make much sense, or isn't anywhere near the top of the priorities list.

Re: Project Opensky Split
Hiroshi had long been planning on taking a break. In keeping with his policy to only release a model once the real aircraft has been delivered, he had planned to perhaps pass the model along to another of POSKY's talented modelers. However, with the split, it is likely that Hiroshi will now hang ont...

It's really quite simple actually. The sun has this effect on all United grey aircraft. As for the greater influence, it's just a personal opinion based off of a few years of spotting UAL and other aircraft, in all types of weather conditions. The UA grey, to me, is like a prism because it changes i...

Being a long time United lover, here's what I can say about the Grey/Blue scheme. It looks different in every single photo. It's appearance is greatly influenced by the natural lighting conditions, more so than any other livery I have ever seen. I think what you've done here is marvelous, in terms o...

I think aliens have taken control of my computer, lol. Just kidding. I am now well enroute YSSY-KLAX, with the payload, fuel was only limited to 90% and using a fuel flow and range gauge that I have, I'm going to land in LAX with fuel to spare. I wonder why it failed me so many times before?

Re: A380 Support - Models & FDE Issues
I'm pretty sure you guys have this FDE messed up. I have the QF, AF, and SQ official releases, and all three have different maximum fuel capacity values, and all of them fall far short of what Airbus.com says is the maximum fuel capacity, which is 82,000 gallons. I also referenced the .pdf you linke...

I'll have a look at that. I was just using the default loadout and 69% fuel, which is the only time the aircraft will not go overweight.

Re: A380 Support - Models & FDE Issues
I've read Derek's flying tutorial for the A380. I wanted to ask why you list the range with max payload at 6,500 when YSSY-KLAX exceeds this number? Surely that flight is frequently full. According to Airbus' numbers, 8,200nm is the range with max pax. YSSY-KLAX is not 8,200nm, so with max pax, it's...

Thanks Derek. I've always wanted to cruise at .84+ with the A380, and just could never do it, so yes this guide helped! I had a question though, for anybody willing to answer. Climbing higher = better fuel burn? How does this work? The higher you go, the thinner the air, the harder the engines have ...
