Re: FSX A321 Installer
Hey guys, So everything was in the right folders and I went to run the installer but its "freaks out" for lack of better words and says access denied to the .cfg. I noticed that the installer is a system32 and I'm using windows 64 bit. Is there a way I can manually install the livery into FSX. Than...

Re: Installation A321 !!
Why no complete package for every livery in stead of the complexity of file moving with base packages and apart preferred paints? Not for disc space anymore? Probably because not everyone wants to download each paint. That would make it a huge download. Plus they are keeping the installation proces...

You need to add the common textures from the "texture" folder into each livery folder

Re: A321 engine power
The A319 FDE was incomplete and had some issues, the official solution was to replace the A319 .air file with the .air file from our A320 and people have indicated that fixed their problems. Do I just copy/paste the A320's .air file in the A319 and rename it than? I've never had a problem with the ...

Re: Installation A321 !!
which file is ready to fly... because the installation of base package and livery is very difficult for me... it´s not easy ;) The basepack needs to be downloaded first. Open up the zip folders, take the 2 A321 folders out and put them in the "Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft directory. You must downloa...

Re: A321 engine power
Yeah my father told me about that. He flew the A320 family (321 included) for 7 years at ACA. Not his fav. aircraft haha. It should climb around 800ft/min in the upper air. He said exactly what you said, Derek: That speed is unrecoverable once you get that low. I shouldnt have let it. For the climb ...

Re: A321 engine power
I had some problems as well. The takeoff seems alright (roll distance wise) but climbing to cruise altitude was not fun. I was going to go to FL350, but realized I wouldnt make it. Decided to just go to FL300. Above about 25'000 you cant climb at more than about 200ft/min. Even than you lose airspee...

Re: Texture Missing A321
You need to copy the textures from the texture folder to each of the livery folders.
I had that problem at first but than I realized what was wrong.
Hope this helps,
Bill

Re: Installation A321 !!
1.) Download basepack 2.) Download preferred paint(s) 3.) Extract the files from the paint's ZIP folder to the correct A321 folder (A321-211 = CFM; A321-231 = IAE) 4.) Either use the livery installer (double clicking on the .BAT file) or install manually by moving the actual texture file (example: t...

Re: Two questions about A3XX-Family
Jet heat can be turned off on the A319, using I think CTRL+W. And probably no previews of the LH. Just going to have to wait for release Id assume.

Re: Disgusted with Project Airbus!
Hi everybody! I am very disgusted with the recent release of the PA A321. I cant belive that there is no repaint of Iberia A321, beeing Iberia one of the most A321 operators in the world. I cant belive, how we can have airlines like Onur air,Virgin, Air busan...instead of Iberia. Well, hope to see ...

Re: A321 Issues.....
That is quite odd. Although that second issue doesnt appear to be a livery problem. To install the liveries: 1.) Download the selected paint 2.) Cut + paste the texture folder from the ZIP folder into the correct A321 folder (-211 for CFM or -231 for IAE). For example, for the Air Canada paint, the ...

Re: A321 missing
Have you properly aliased the paints in the aircraft.cfg? Id go through there- if you havent already- just to make sure the name of the texture folders matches the line in the CFG. As well make sure the 2 paints are numbered [fltsim.0] and [fltsim.1], given the fact that those are the only 2 paints ...

Re: Air Canada A321
I've been waiting for a good 321 to come out for ages. The IFDG model is not my cup of tea, so to speak. This will be better than some of the Payware ones
. I'm on the lookout for this release. Finally will complete the PA 320 family.

Thank you for your support. Thing is, even if I were to get it right, and have the fuselage and such modelled right, I wouldn't know where to start for the aircraft.cfg entries, and model file and such. I have never done this before so I am 200% lost lol. If maybe I would make the body/tail/wings, e...

Anyways, I'm curious to know what program you use for designing models like this. Is it the Abacus Design Studio, or something else? Please let me know.
cheers,
Bill

Re: When made the A321
I think the A321 would an awesome addition to the Project Airbus A320 family. The 318,319, and 320 are there now, and the 321 would complete it. I would prefer to have the A321 than the A380, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the PAirbus 380 looks fantastic, but I'm a 320 family kinda guy. I would ...
