Re: [WIP] A380 2D Panel based on PA Gauges
If it's your own bitmap, it's OK. Regarding the gauges, most authors include their e-mail address in the readme file. If it's not there, look for more panels from that guy on avsim/flightsim, in case you find the addy in another readme file.

No game engine to date can render that kind of lighting in real time. These are from one of 3ds max's renderers, taking hours to produce one single image. In more advanced graphics engines (i.e. Rise of Flight, Unreal Engine 3, CryEngine 3) you can imitate that lighting to some extent, but ray-trace...

Re: VASFMC don't climb to Flight Level 370 !
The climb problem is there only with VAS.VAS FMC doesn't support vertical navigation. That means that, no matter what you do in the MCDU, it is not programmed to automatically change FLs. You'll have to set the altitude and Vertical Speed by hand, because VAS hasn't modeled the VNAV feature yet.

go to http://www.vas-project.org and download the latest FS9 version of VAS. Once installed, you should get the gauges in the VC. There's no 2D panel for the 380,it was intended to be flown from the VC.

You have to select a vertical speed by hand. I think I got the same problem above 10000ft; RClick on the VS knob, select a Vertical speed manually and it'll climb there.

That means three separate mdls. I think 90% of current systems can easily run a model that is 30% above the FS9 polygon limit. And I say 90% because of FS9's rendering limitations. Games like Unreal Tournament 3 and Crysis 2 can render millions of polygons at once.
