Strange comment - it's very clear from all the videos posted so far that the ailerons are correctly modelled.

Dammit Tom you're making me get my keyboard wet!!
Looking around on the forums proves to be more and more dangerous when the frequency of A380 photos go up.

So since I really love the Qantas A380, I was wondering if you guys would please post a picture of your Qantas A380. Only if it isn't too much work of course. Thanks!

You can always make your own too at a later date once we've released a public paintkit.

Once you get started with the house schemes, you just can't stop...
I took some shots of the real thing two years ago at Farnborough; here's the PA version:

I think I got a little more than I bargained for when I said house colors.
Though given that you find it difficult to stop with the house colors, might I simply suggest the one with the Korean Air sticker on it?

The only difficult thing I see is that part with the Korean writing on it.

Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
Problem is, there are so many variations of the house scheme for various occasions that it's more sensible on an "official" basis to cover the obvious ones (which I would say are just the two we've previewed) - a better bet would be for me to perhaps have a go at a full "unofficial" Korean rendition on my own further down the line once all the official base models and liveries have been released.DerKranich wrote:I think I got a little more than I bargained for when I said house colors.

Awasome paint Tom!!!
Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
I love the green things on this one, Tom. Looking pretty already. I am sure that there will be many repainters willing to do al the variations once the paintkit is out.

Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
And, is it sure that the A380 is going be released before july, or is it only a suggestion ?
Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
I don't think a lot of stuff about release dates is very sure here. But if it's not July, its August. And we all will have to wait a little longer. Our waiting will be worth it.Aeroflot2685 wrote:And, is it sure that the A380 is going be released before july, or is it only a suggestion ?

yes, it's worth !!!

Now all jokes aside, DT is paying for the server last time I checked so in my mind it boils down to whether or not he pays for an extra month to keep the forum up and running.

It's pay-as-you-go—and I never said I'll stop paying for it

And after that what? All these will be deleted ????

Guys, try to stay on topic for a week. Please!
Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
yes, let's talk about the project and the A380...
and will there be an A380-900 in the future??
because the development starts this year and as i think, it will be finished in about 4 years...

Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
-900?
Ask again then in 4 years
Are you guys going to make a checklist also for the PA A380?
e.x. The speed limits for the flaps would be helpfull

Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
That's not right. It was the original plan to do it that way but Airbus hat put the 900 on hold. They want to get things straight with the 800 first and after that their major focus will be on A350 and A320 replacement. Those two projects are far more important than a stretched A380. Apart from that there seems to be no demand for the 900 at all. Emirates were the only ones constantly asking for this plane but their interest didn't seem to be that big as they never made some kind of pre-contract. Now they have ordered 32 additional 800's and I can't see how they could have any use for additional and even bigger jets with 90 (!!!) A380-800 in their fleet by 2017. In fact I don't even see them having enough traffic for 90 A380's, about 100 A350's and god knows how many 777's, but that's another story...Aeroflot2685 wrote: and will there be an A380-900 in the future??

Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
Pretty new to the PA forums. Been flying PA A320 family for I guess about 9 months now.
Just wanted to say to all the members of the PA development team that you all do an excellent job and that its a real shame the way people hassle you! I really appreciate the A320 family aircraft (it is the only aircraft i currently fly, i like to do like a real pilot and fly/master one type for a period of time) and the kind words I have gotten on this forum whenever I have had a question. The A380 looks amazing. I am not sure if I'll be flying when it is released as I'm fairly satisfied with my A320 and A319LR right now and do think that the A380 might to a bit to great of an FPS hit for me.
I know it means nothing coming from Me but you should all be very proud to have completed such a project.

the FPS should be no worse off than the A320 series if not better.

Even in FSX due to a non-native model?Tranceaddict wrote:the FPS should be no worse off than the A320 series if not better.

Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
well it will be exported to be compatible with FSX so i dont really follow what you mean by non native model
Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
Ohhhhh. For some reason I was under the impression that it that wasn't taking place.Tranceaddict wrote:well it will be exported to be compatible with FSX so i dont really follow what you mean by non native model
So in other words there will be an FSX model for download and an FS9 model?
I know the FSX model won't incorporate any special FSX features but it will be compiled in FSX SDK?
I hope I'm not being interpreted as rude my intention was to be complimentary!

No, it will only be compiled with the FS9 exporter. I don't know how it will perform in FSX, my system only runs FSX at 10fps so..Lrusso wrote:Ohhhhh. That image doesn't really mean anything. I've heard it discussed before, tarmac lines are sometimes drawn in advance without any guarantee they'll ever be used.larsv wrote:well the A380-900 might arrive sooner then you think

Re: Random W.I.P Screenshots
Fps should be on average lower than the A320's (more polys, more animations, more XML).
