Community involvement

Post by Alexis »

Hi all,

We've been recently looking to open up the development proccess to members of the community that would like to contribute. As a first step, we'll be handing (part of) the A320 series cabin and the wireframes for it to select painters to create the textures from scratch. If you think you're up to the task either reply below or PM me showcasing any work you've done to date. We'll be picking a few of you after about a week's wait. Once you've completed a fair bit of work there'll be a 'review proccess'; if we—in our mighty wisdom—deem your offering worthy, you'll be asked to join the group in some capacity and complete the textures for the A320 series cabin, and work on whatever may lie ahead—if you're so inclined.

I mostly do repaints, I've done some for the Aerosoft Airbus X --> http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php/use ... __tab__idm
Now I'm starting to paint here at PA, check my first repaint here --> http://www.pairbus.com/discussion/viewt ... f=7&t=1817

Just choose the ones you like guys, I'll be indifferent to the result but for sure I'll go on repainting. ;)

As a repainter, I know I can hopefully mean something for Project Airbus. And aircraft are my passion, so should I say more? :D :D

I took about 30 photos of my last flight with an A320 (Air Malta)
I think I can fit this in somewhere :)

Here's a tip for uploading your photo's, as I am very interested to see them :). On www.photobucket.com you can upload as many as you want, then copy and paste the links into a forum topic. There are no costs attached, at least in my case, and the availability and editing tools are very good. Hope that helps. :)

Hi Alexis,

Although I like the small contest you have put in place, I unfortunately do not have painting/texture skills I can offer :-(
I am however a very experienced programmer and an A320 die hard.
I have modelled in very high detail all the A320 systems and building my own A320 glass cockpit (overhead, mcdu, ecam pages, ...) to connect to an FS A320 model susch as PA.
I would be very happy to contribute to PA to integrate my work inside PA in FS.
I have compiled a document with an overview of my work, ready to send to you.
Please let me know where to send it to.

Regards,

Bruno
