The A330 and A340
Re: The A330 and A340
Point being? Try having some patience, and maybe they will take time out of their lives and development for this aircraft, and show us some screenshots. You people are horribly impatient.ReneM. wrote:But unfortunately the last time they showed us some pictures is quite a while ago.
Re: The A330 and A340
Since we're going way too long off-topic, it will be unlocked with the next update.
Re: The A330 and A340
After a long break and a lot of PC problems, we have managed to move forward with the VC a bit.
Some improved modeling on little details, an actual overhead (most of it) and AP texture and the assorted lightmaps are in place.

Do you mean the overall light or the lights on the overhead panel?Daniel_csr wrote:But the night lighting color is wrong, Airbus uses a light yellow light

I have to say this--the cockpit looks brilliant! Best office you could possibly ask for . Except maybe one on the ISS...but that's a whole different thing

I know, You hate this question, but could You upload screenshot with new lighting?
Re: The A330 and A340
I think they wanted a preview of the yellow lighting. So I fixed up the photo a bit. Here you are peoples.
Re: The A330 and A340
Not nearly enough jpeg artefacts.
Re: The A330 and A340
Wow, looks great
What do you mean? There would be more systems simulated? (I've not flown the A380, so I have no reference other than the default vasFMC A32x panels).Alexis wrote:an actual overhead (most of it)
Re: The A330 and A340
Hi, I love those LCD displays! However I will once merge the old PSS A330 VC into it...

Re: The A330 and A340
Don't quite get it, you can only merge the gauges for fs2004 but not the entire VC right? So I guess the LCD will still be there, which I think is lovelyeddm wrote:Hi, I love those LCD displays! However I will once merge the old PSS A330 VC into it...
Re: The A330 and A340
Yep, only the gauges can be merged. The model isn't -legally- changeable.
Re: The A330 and A340
Yes, I meant the gauges. I will use the 2D panel mainly. The vasfmc gauges implementation is also nice, but the pss ones are better, because the whole panel has a certain system depth. I bought the old PSS A330/340 box a long time ago (it was the early times of FS9) hmm, I'm gettin old... -I can't wait to replace my old Posky A330/340 with the great PA buses!
Re: The A330 and A340
Any other preview pics? Can we at least get one preview pic of the A330-200?
Re: The A330 and A340
Is that a stock image or is that the actual PA model in another background? Come on I'm not asking for much, just one real preview pic.

Re: The A330 and A340
Sorry dude...I was just messing around . I would if I knew I had permission, but I do not, so it's up to esg, Alexis, or some other higher-up to do it.A321flyer wrote:Is that a stock image or is that the actual PA model in another background? Re: The A330 and A340
i think the preview will come when they think it's an important update. I've shown you A330-300 already
Re: The A330 and A340
Oh man......what a great pic of the cockpit....fantastic.
I'm excited to fly this plane in the FS 9

Dylematic's right. Topic locked until the next update.
Re: The A330 and A340
Hi everyone,
Here are some further updates with the A330 engines and pylons. I have spent a lot of time on these textures for the engines and pylons and I am confident to say these engines are extremely well-modelled by Nick, and they are probably the best available on any A330 models today (if you don't believe me compare the shots below with photos)
Those of you who know your A330s well would note that these are the textures for the newer pylons - the engine pylons on earlier a330 builds were mostly grey. This is still being worked on for the GE and PW versions.
Before anyone asks - the screenshots below are only to showcase the engines - the wings, flap track canoes, fuselage textures, wing to body fairing textures are all still being worked on.

Rolls-Royce Trent 772B-60
Pratt & Whitney PW4168
