The A340 engine preview is next - from a textures and exterior model perspective the 330 and 340 are developed in parallel

Im that guy who actually prefers the wingview. This might have been previously asked but I was just wondering, when the aircraft are finished and released, will there be a wingview version as well as the virtual cockpit?

Yesterday and the day before I flew the A330 by Project Opensky and all I can say is the model has a low quality in contrast to the Project Airbus A330.
By the way, did you realize the splitted aileron on A330/A340?

M@rco wrote:By the way, did you realize the splitted aileron on A330/A340?
They realized it on the A380 with all 3 aileron sections moving. So it's most likely they do or already did it with the two aileron sections on the A330/A340.

Poskys A330/A340 is still state of the art! To be overtopped by PA's models, but it's still way to go (put me right, PA Team...;-)

Good work guys. I can see the meticulous detail that you put into the A380 in this multiplied by 100.

Poskys A330/340 (only freeware a33X and 4X out there for fs9) is good, but since most of my gaming is done on my el cheapo notebook the thing looks odd. The nose cone is off. Not complaining, just pointing out some observations. Plus alot of the posky uploads on avsim and flightsim have been tinkered with recently. I was doing a really light takeoff from 31L kjfk to KBOS and i literally used up all the runway before i could rotate. I exited, deleted the aircraft.cfg, found a backup that I had downloaded when they had a website, and found that i was golden. No more piano keys rotation.

There will be rain effects on the front cockpit glass?

Ha! I needed a good laugh this morning. Just don't get me started on the paintkit.

As for rain effects, I'd hazard to guess any features present on the A380 will be incorporated onto the A330/A340 as well.

Why don't you start by telling us why CLS/Overland aren't better than POSKY?

By today's standards, certainly none of the 3 options are "still state of the art!"

I don't think the models are bad, especially when you compare the size of the freeware community, which is getting smaller by the second

Hi,
to me, even little things make the difference, so, if I simply compare the design of the maingear, I see that only posky paid attention to, that the wheels are more spread out there on the bogies (sideways)!
When I saw PA's previewvideo a also knew that the PA A330s will be as nice, and even better with todays modelling, and animation technics.

Hello PA-Team,

One question, will the A330-200 will have the option to choose between the wings with and without fuel dump nozzle? The A330-300 has none and the A340-200/-300 have them. But I saw on some pictures the A330-200s have that option.

In the a330 VC autopilot knobs will be animated? I mean they will be spinning?

If there isn't an official PA livery released initially with the A/C, I'm sure someone will make one if you make a polite request. Don't fret--the FS world has more than enough willing developers :)

Thank you sooo much you guys at PA for making this plane and especially making it for FS9 aswell coz it seems like most developers of quality planes have turned their back on the sim and adopted the visually-good but really power-demanding FSX and now Prepar3d.

Appreciate all your work.Keep it up.
Can't wait to finally have a good A330/340 to paint in Cathay Pacific colours and fly from my hub HK and do it especially in a VC :3

And it may seem like alot but since you're still working on this stuff, have you considered keeping this things VC production in particular open? What I mean is allow for modding coz there's alot of good panels and weather radar/TCAS/TWAS/FMC type addons available but at most can only be merged into 2D panels but not VC. So just saying if at all it is even possible to give thought to such aspect :)

Otherwise I'm happy getting a plane with quality VC too!

just an update guys - still working on the A340 engine - there has been a minor update to the engine and the engine cowlings and pylons are being textured. As soon as they are done there will be an A340-300 preview.
