No, it hasn't.

Aw bummer. Any chance you could consider increasing the flex on the 321?? It has quite a bit more flex than the 320 from my experience.
It would take a whole lot longer to redo the wingflex which is perfectly fine as it is.

I don't necessarily think it would take all that long since the flex is controlled via XML file that's coded into the model. If its anything like what Hiroshi has done with his flex then it would simply be changing a numerical value in the XML file.

Awesome! Great Job! But I have one question: Will the V2500 engines updated to? Because if you use reverser the blocker doors inside the engine does not go up. When the reverser sleeve goes backwards the blocker doors go in up position so the bypass air will be deflected out of the engine.

As far as I'm aware, no.

Mine is from FSX - Stian's is from FS9.

Also I was just curious. Are these sharklet models just modifications from the original A320 models or is this a complete redesign?

It's the FS9 model. I'm sure there will be flexing on the FSX models too.
A330fan wrote:Also I was just curious. Are these sharklet models just modifications from the original A320 models or is this a complete redesign?
It's basically the same as before. The main change is the sharklets and the spoiler/aileron animation as well as newly coded strobe/beacon/nav lights.

Ok because you said that the shots you took are from FSX and the Air New Zealand A320 pic you posted had wing flex so I thought that was an FSX shot. Will the strobe lights have special effects were it would illuminate on the ground?

Oooh! And I take it (sorry for all the *noob* questions lol) that the newly-coded lights will be transferred to the A318/19/21 (both sharkletted and fenced models)? Thanks again!

I thought PA was long gone until I saw the announcement today. Great to hear! I have been using your "baby busses" in P3D v2.2 with hardly any issues. Well one really - the textures are semi-transparent when flying at dusk/night. Please consider doing a version for P3D.

Only the models with the sharklets have been changed.

Looking good.

Will repaints that have already been created/done for the a318, a319, a320, a321 work with the new sharklet models? Or will new ones need to be created?

Thanks

Finally, it's about time to appear. Is amazing. Congratulations to the team for all the work that these "sharklets" come alive.

b6ifc81 wrote:OMG! That's absolutely amazing! Definitely looking forward to adding these to my fleet. I have a question, however (and I apologize if it appears I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth): Will there also be a texture update to include an option for a wifi dome on top of the A32x series? I've noticed that the wifi domes (at least on jetBlue's planes) are larger/longer than the usual SATcom domes. If there's no update, it's no big deal. Thanks for all your hard work guys!

Just a couple of comparison shots:
Standard SATcom dome (already modeled):

Newer wifi dome:

United's wifi dome (taller, shorter, further back on fuselage):
http://www.airliners.net/photo/United-A ... acd5b6234a

Also, all A32x equipped with sharklets have a different animation: their ailerons deflect upward when spoilers are deployed upon touchdown, as this video from youtube will demonstrate (just the first 30 seconds):
http://youtu.be/ejIw7QFvLvo
There is also American's A319 & A321 with optional antenna

Virgin America smaller/different shaped SATcom dome

Fantastic effort lads. Good to see that PA is still well and truly alive and kicking!

Be very interested to see the Monarch (MON / ZB) variants on the Sharklet 321s. I'm sure they will be mouth wateringly good.

Calm down with the livery requests. we requested a sharklet model and now thats its been done, everyones requesting every single livery for the new model.

Tavers just said existing textures will work with the new model, so the chance is, the livery you request is already done and you can just adapt it when the sharklet model comes out.

Geez...

So just sit back, wait and see what we come up with :)

Gorgeous screenshots, and of course sharklets. Unexpected but very welcome, as if the A330 wasn't enough!

Folks, is it necessary to start bombarding threads with paint requests? Give it a rest.

1) The American and Air New Zealand paints look great!

2) To all the people who are asking for requests, you do realize that all that's different for the textures are just TWO BITMAPS! Those two bitmaps are just for the sharklets themselves. Plus here's another shocking realization: IT WILL BE THE SAME FOR THE NEOS!! All that would really change between this and the NEOs would be the engines.

Now if you'd excuse me, I'm going to be somewhat proactive in painting whatever I can before these sharklets get released and not ask for anything more than them to keep up the great work. Hey, at least it will keep us all entertained while we're also waiting for the A330/A340.

Hello I was just wondering. Will the cfg reflect the reduced fuel burn the sharklets bring? Or will it be the same as it is now for the PA320 V2.1?

If you taxi a bit longer you'll offset the gain so no worries with the same cfg file ;)
