Hi Gary....nahseb li hawn Maltin ohra li jzuru dal-forum...niskanta kif hadd qatt ma sellimlek!!

Keep it up mate ghax tal-ghageb dak li qed turuna.

Jien ilni nsegwi Project Airbus minn meta tawna l-ewwel A320. Kont nizziltu u kkumbinajtu mat-2D panel ta' Eric Marciano. Kien bomba ukoll. Dan l-ahhar kont qtajt ftit, imbaghad sibt il-bookmark, dhalt u skoprejt lilek fuq dit-thread....u ddecidejt li nsellimlek anke' biex inheggek u nghidlek prosit tal-bicca xoghol li qed taghmel.

Din il-VC tal-A380 tizboq kollox...... kif ghidtlek....keep up the great work u nawguralkom li taslu sal-final.

In English now for our international friends:
Congrats to all the team for the magnificent work on the A380 VC. Can't wait to see the finished product.... keep it up guys and Good Luck.

And as a little encouragement to my compatriot Gary.... Image

The VC's FMC will be a simple one Ken Mitchell made for his A340 panel, that displays ETA, Distance to destination e.t.c. There are a few submodes, but along these lines, all made by Ken.
The FMC keyboard will be fully mappable though, and via the panel.cfg you'll be able to assign an FMC gauge on top for use as a keyboard, and then map the screen separately somewhere else. A gauge maker with knowledge will be able to make those 2 XML gauges interconnect easily (we've done that on a few occasions with the 380's MFDs). If somebody want's to make a full FMC for the 380, the provisions are there, all he needs is time ( ).
i really hope somebody makes a full fmc with autoland feature for this great bird... that would make this addon not just the best freeware but the most ultimate freeware addon in the flightsim world in my opinion :D cant wait to fly it

VAS would have to change the button layout to match the 380's one.

Pairbus doesn't set ANY release dates for their things. This question has been asked too many times. Just be patient and wait. It'll be ready soon enough.

I never knew freeware could be this good!, will the a321's vc quality follow suit?

EDIT: can I ask is there a certain type of light bloom you use for your pictures or something as they look really realistic

I thought I had ENB disabled in these shots but I'm not sure anymore. Regardless, these are unedited FS9 shots.

And... if the keyboards actually pop out, I'll be totally amazed ;) . Nice work, keep it up :)

Cheers everyone!

A little more information on the gauges now. We're planning to release with 2 ready-to-fly gauge setups. One will use our custom gauge set (as previewed throughout this thread), the other will support vasFMC. A 2d panel is not planned, nor will one be necessary as the virtual cockpit will be fully functional on it's own. For now, an FSX version is not in the works. More screens are below:

Featuring the PA gauges:

Featuring vasFMC:

Thanks.

Can you tell us how much longer until release? Just curious. Screenshots look fantastic, by the way. Just one thing I've noticed. The four autopilot buttons in the very middle of the console of your VC look more recangular in shape in comparison with the more square-shaped buttons in the real thing. At least, that's how it looks to me.

How come everybody jumped to the conclusion it won't be done?

the fact that an fsx one is being thought over staggers me (especially considering about half the people on this forum run fsx)... what me and others are not happy about is that people in fsx would have to wait at least a couple more months down the road for an fsx build. It surprizes me that people still put priority to a sim which is 8yrs old over a newer sim. The best answer is to release them for both sims and both at the same time.

Im not surprized people are writing these sort of messages as we have been waiting for this for over a year with no indication to which flight sim. If you had said so from the beginning then you wouldn't have got everyones juices up with the pics etc only to dissappoint half of the people

would you rather we didn't write in the forum then, I guess this forum isn't for open discussion of flight sim development and is for mocking people and atempting to make people feel silly instead

It'll still work in FSX, for the record; it just won't be a native model.

"Using an FS9 model in FSX will yield very unfavorable frame rates" I run a high-end system and get an average of 50FPS but when i used a posky fs9 native model my frames dropped really low....

In any case, all Derek's said is an FSX version isn't currently in the works (a statement of fact). How everyone's spun that around to mean we're never doing an FSX model is beyond me.
