Oh man. You can pay the next A380 for Emirates.
Not everyone can break an A380 down... Congratulations...

Re: I broke my PA A380 :(
It wasn't my fault. Sure I started at 20,000ft, on my side, nose fully trimmed down before leaving it at -8g+ for a few minutes!! I saw it start to split and wondered how far the wingtip (with engine) would go. It went a lot further than I thought it would!
It started of as a basic FPS test over Madeira X with my fresh install of FSX. It turned into an excercise in destruction
When it's not being put through utterly stupid stress tests, the A380 is a dream. My favourite aircraft in FSX in fact

You need to get a stick that can twist

Yeah, I went cheap to start with, unaware of just how addictive FSX was going to be. Some rudder pedals would be better!
Re: I broke my PA A380 :(
Do you know how many man hours it took to build it?
Re: I broke my PA A380 :(
Just did some testing trying to recreate this. At about -8.0G it's at its maximum.

And you got no separation? Wierd!Inbreker wrote:Just did some testing trying to recreate this. At about -8.0G it's at its maximum.
It hasn't happened since. If it makes any difference, I have the Emirates model installed, along with the Thomas Ruth A340-600 VC changes. Sounds are from TSS (747). Not sure what files talk to what, but maybe something's conflicting?

Right, I've replicated the 'occurence'. I recorded it in real-time to rule out any replay glitches. It was interesting doing aerobatics using wing views!
Video's uploading now, but I'm in the English countryside, so my connection leaves a lot to be desired! Will update in a bit.

Well, here it is. How to force the wing off of a PA A380.

Not within normal flying conditions, I had to work at it a bit!

Don't ask how I found out about this glitch!!
Maybe I'm missing my true calling as a tester!!

Doesn't really matter what happens to the wings well outside of the standard operating guidelines, I still love it the most out of all my aircraft!

I guess we had to do this first:
