Hello all. Again.
I have noticed a problem when I record my videos.
First, I'll fly, and if I think it's good enough, I'll instant replay it and record my video with fraps.
But while I am in instant replay, my sound is completely messed up. The engine sound is changing pitch every 1/8th of a second. The pitch change is dramatic, it goes from very low to very high within that timeframe, although my sound when I'm actually playing is perfectly fine.
If you want to see a video of this problem, I have recorded one and posted it on my youtube.

Please help, as this problem is ruining the beautiful GE sounds!
P.S. If you would like to critique my videos or give me good tips for FSX, please let me know as I am still a young pilot that is improving.

Recording Sound problem? [FSX]
Re: Recording Sound problem? [FSX]
I have a sneaking suspicion that it has something to deal with your frame rate settings.
Lock your frame rate when you record to something that is stable ( like 15 FPS). Then when you go back to play the recording unlock your frame rate, and you will have both clean audio along with a smooth video. The default recorder that is built into FSX is a little jumpy sometimes on both the audio and video. I use instead FS Recorder for my movies. http://www.fs-recorder.net/
Worse comes to worse, update your sound drivers and reboot your computer.
Hopefully this helps!
