Re: The A380 VC
I don't mean to keep bothering you guys, but I as wondering - what kind of systems will be useable? eg the unique FMS on the A380, and the Onboard Information Terminal (near the pilot's sidestick)?
Thanks

Re: The A380 VC
yeah the simulation paused thing is a HUGE giveaway that this is fake. If not then that would be one crazy detailed VC.

Please remember we're a freeware group - and adjust your expectations accordingly. Not to say it won't be very good freeware. Unique FMS etc would be the one thing that stands between what we have now and what we could justify charging $50+ for.deccas1391 wrote:I don't mean to keep bothering you guys, but I as wondering - what kind of systems will be useable? eg the unique FMS on the A380, and the Onboard Information Terminal (near the pilot's sidestick)?

Yeah sure... Well Fms is just non-askable in freeware groups and I fully agree with that. You already did a great job, judging from screenshots. However, there is always the VasFMC which is getting more realistic by the minute.Tom Collins wrote:

Re: The A380 VC
VASFMC integration is an entirely different story, which doesnt yet merit divulging right now.
But to see where this project is after everything we went through with, i'm more than happy to say we've come this far in the least. People tend to overlook that part.

Hope I wasn`t misunderstood, I was talking there to the common user not the development team obviously...
Re: The A380 VC
If the VC looks like that, Pairbus could win an international award
Re: The A380 VC
quick question: will the VC work with FSX?
Re: The A380 VC
yes it should + you could have searchedMike74722 wrote:quick question: will the VC work with FSX?

Love the VC. Looks like a photograph (thanks for airliners.net)
I didn't realize that the real-world A380 had a pause button It may be a handy add-on (expensive too) if the weather's not so good and you can pause until it has gone when on approach. Serve a few extra drinks on the house and passengers will still be happy.
A laugh a day keeps the doctors away (cliché)
