At the Orlando Sanford International Airport, thousands of people were brought in from the Haiti on nearly one-hundred flights, most of them operated by USAF C-17s. The airport had never been busier, and after 70 or so of these flights the airport authority eventually had to bring in the National Guard to assist with operations.
