Thank YOU

Post by lordsniper » 09 Apr 2010, 19:13

I've seen that you're A380 was in test phase so it's great news :)
I just want thanks PAIRBUS for their successful project, you really put all your competence and your time for this Free project and the the result looks awesome, I saw videos on youtube and your work is way more beautiful and accomplished than other 40 Sterling payware
So THANK YOU for the bottom of my heart Pairbus, you're awesome. I honestly think that your next project must be a payware because you deserve a real reward (and I'm sure you'll get a lot of reward).

ps pointless topic...but i had to thank you

Had it for about two to three months about a year ago. Received one donation (from Sheldon)

Me and Derek have been paying for the site for the last 2-3 years

It's been a big donation of free time (and still is) and of electricity for the computers, and the costs of the site, by the team. And the costs of the computer hardware shouldn't be forgotten. Freeware is great and in my opinion generally produces the best aircraft because it is not done to earn money and with commercial deadlines. It's done by a team of entousiasts for the FS community. So I think a donation is only fair.
Pairbus does deserve therefore a very heart-felt THANK YOU, and what better way to thank them than with a donation. It's only fair. :)
I'm all fot it! ;)

I agree with you, a paypal donation button is a minimum, you cannot just offer a blockbuster freeware in the fs community who took you like 6 month (I don't know really how many time it took you) AND paying money for making the release possible...writing this make me realise how much you're Generous those enthusiast developpers are nearly extinct those days...

Hi, as much as I agree with you, I believe that the biggest contribution you can do is start doing something simple for the fs community. Well, everybody is good at something. You shall identify your talent and start working on it. In a very raw manner, I started gauge making.

It's also self learning. Let's say there is something you really wish to have in fs but there isn't. Why do you have to wait for someone to do it? Start something yourself even the bare minimum. Well I think that Sean and Alexis mainly can judge that very simple gauge that I made for FSX. I did it, with the best of my ability and no previous experience.

Try that, I'm sure that all the PA team will be more willing for a talent rather than a donate button.

PAIRBUSBEST you're right but some people aren't friendly at all with developping it's just not their thing, you seems to be enthusiastic about that and I hope you'll progress quickly in developping what you like and want to share with us ;) you're on what right now ? For me I'm beginning to repaint liveries and I'm learning some gmax or 3dsmax for sceneries and maybe later planes modelling it takes years but like your gauge there's a beginning for everything.
