Re: Twitter update discussion post.
it just means that LH will have to go on hold.
In either case i was on borrowed time doing the LH bird. I wont have time to breathe after the 21st of this month in either case.

Re: Twitter update discussion post.
I kinda figured as muchthe poll has got nothing to do with release except prolly decide who gets what out first.. we are close but don't hold your breath just yet
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
But "we are close" .....
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
But don't hold your breath just yet...
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
okay but from one year ago, it's closer, and for one that's been waiting and following the project on a long time, knows that this is close. I'm not going into any math but if a day has passed, it's surely closer.
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
I'm lost on something..why wait until all the paints are finished, as opposed to release the thing as the paints are finished, i.e, if one's ready now, just release the thing. The suspense is kiiilllling!
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Maybe that's one of the things they are enjoy most :lol:Perriwen wrote:I'm lost on something... The suspense is kiiilllling!

Who said that's not what we'll be doing?Perriwen wrote:I'm lost on something..why wait until all the paints are finished, as opposed to release the thing as the paints are finished, i.e, if one's ready now, just release the thing. The suspense is kiiilllling!
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
I personally could'nt care a less about the other liveries, SQ is the one I really want, can't wait to do a LHR-SIN flight.

personally I can't wait to go apeshit on the paintkit. The liveries are a little gray for me personally. Though that's not to say I will download a few.

Gave her a good 3 hours of my attention last night (more than my wife got, certainly) so she's getting there...DomSQ wrote:I personally could'nt care a less about the other liveries, SQ is the one I really want, can't wait to do a LHR-SIN flight.
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Nice one Tom, glad to hear it, may I ask what reg your doing, from the last preview's of her, I thaught I read 9V-SKC, if that's the case, fantastic as I flew her from MEL last year.

Yeah I believe SKC is the reg (I'm at work and my memory's not the best). Picked it arbitrarily, glad it means something to someone!
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Funny you should say this... If you are from MEL I would have guessed you'd want the Qantas livery better than any to fly the MEL-LAX direct flight (QF93)...DomSQ wrote:I personally could'nt care a less about the other liveries, SQ is the one I really want, can't wait to do a LHR-SIN flight.

I have flown a lot to Canada (since I was 1 year-old or so) but always wanted (still do, by all means) visit Australia... Maybe stay there for some time.
Maybe that's why I'm a Qantas "fanboy".

Re: Twitter update discussion post.
How's the a380 no news or up dates
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
To be honest I would'nt expect a release until well into the weekend I'd imagine.

Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Maybe it would be a good idea that our friend DerKranich left for a short trip this weekend, if it's true PA have a hidden camera waiting him to leave to release the A380... ...
Re: Twitter update discussion post.

Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Bring on the a380 wooohooo
Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Now let's not jump the gun here. Calm before the storm. Are all the repaints and FDE issues sorted? We don't need a package rushed out with defects .
We all can't wait, but the excitment is contained.
Will be great when it comes out and we can all enjoy this wonderful A380. My first flight will be with the LH repaint

Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Ha! My first flight will be with Emirates from Dubai to Male! I know that the A380 won't fit there but since I've done it in real life I wanna give it a shot!!
If not I shall try Dubai to Heathrow and then to Chicago!!
Thanks PA!!
P.S. Question: Are there gonna be any fictional lyveries? If not, will there be a paint kit like the other projects have?

Re: Twitter update discussion post.
Yes, there will be a paint kit. Might do a few fictionals after the release
Re: Twitter update discussion post.

As I mentioned in the past, I would love to see a fictional repaint with Canadian Airlines' "proud Wings" livery. I'm not much of a painter, so if anyone decides they would like to do it, they would get a hundred thousand thank you's and lots of virtual cash that they could put in their virtual pockets.esg wrote:Yes, there will be a paint kit. err no. Our FDE guy disappeared long back. Nobody has seen him since a while now. Maybe Tom knows better but we just didn't see him at all after his initial work on the FDEDerKranich wrote:CS? Sad to see this happens sometimes, people you meet on the Internet just randomly one day disappear and they never show face again and you wonder how they're getting on. I would of honestly thought he would of stuck around to see how the project was getting on...if he's still around that is.
