Cheap A380 seats available now

Hello all,

A380 geeks like me will be happy to know that Air France are offering LHR-CDG return flights from £80 incl taxes! Great way to get a flight on her for relatively little money.

Just booked for Jun 12th - 14th, can't wait! I think my wife isn't too happy I'm so excited to be going to Paris without her.

yup they putting the A380 on the route so its not just sitting in Paris for 18hrs after it arrives from FAJS and before it re-departs.

That's always the problem on the SA routes - SAA themselves must suffer with the low fleet utilisation. I remember years ago before BA had a franchise in South Africa they'd send one of their 747s down to Durban on a 1 hour round-trip to fill up on cheaper fuel and make some marginal revenue instead of just sitting in FAJS.

I live near london so that is extremely tempting, would've been even better if the Paris Air Show was this year instead of Farnborough, so I could travel to Paris on the A380.

Instead might make a "mileage" trip on the A380.

Tempting to hop accross the pond from Holland to LHR then again over the pond back to continental Europe just to say I've been on the A380. Two take-offs and two landings. Now, that's double fun

I think that single photo has turned 4/5 of the boards green with envy by now.

With that angle it almost looks as though the 767 can fit under its wing.

The wing looks tiny, like those on the A319, from that angle. Just my opinion btw.

Flying back tomorrow morning - sitting in the last row on the right downstairs so I'll get another photo or two from there. Should look bigger as the sense of scale is lost from the upper deck.

I'm also planning a trip on the A380 from Paris to LHR this summer. But not sure yet if I will make it. Seems like the Thalys doesn't go at the right time for me to get to CDG.

Honestly if you had told me that was the cannon i would have believed you... its a very good quality pic of the worlds best aircraft (no not the continential aircraft in the background)

Hey Tom, some great shots there! I thought i would share a few of my own pictures from when i flew the Air France A380 to JFK back in November.

I was very lucky to wind up on this aircraft as when i booked the flight i was due to fly on a B777-300ER, a couple of months before however flight 006 was changed to the A380 and i got the feeling this would be the closest i would ever come to winning the lottery!

I took this waiting to board at CDG.

here we are upper deck seat 88K or L, (I can't remember) just taxing towards runway 27R

just after take-off

flying over Northern England,

on approach to JFK

There you go the picture quality isnt as good as Tom's but it was far and away the best flight i have ever been on in my life. Hope you enjoy!

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but just thought I would post a few (resized) from my trip last July with Singapore Airlines. Quality comes no where near Tom's and Stephen's because I took them with my iPhone - didn't have a proper camera

Well, I'll be flying this route again soon, thanks to Air France UK who've given me 2 free return tickets (see here. Not sure which dates I'll be flying yet but I'll hopefully have them sorted next week.

This is my first ever post on the PAForums. Ever since I heard the name ProjectAirbus I have waited for the mighty Airbus A380-800 to be released and here it is. I thank everyone involved with the creation if this beast and let me tell you, It looks just like the real thing

When Emirates announced tickets for sale from JFK to DXB back in 2008, I just "HAD" to sit in one of those seats. I convinced my family to let me go for a roundtrip from the Kennedy to Dubai and so I was on my way. After looking at all these pictures on the forums of Airbus Addicts like myself, I though might aswell share these pictures with you. Enjoy.
