Is it not time to update the 2005 WMM.COF data of vasFMC to the 2010 version? I have tried, without success, to 'massage' the 2010 data to resemble that in the WMM2005.COF file. Although the columns and spacing look identical (apart from the new data) and the vasFMC.cfg file was changed to use the WMM2010.COF file, my efforts resulted in a crash to desktop when I tried to enter the departure runway. Not sure where I have gone wrong. Does anyone know of a piece of software which will format the WMM 2010 data, available on the internet, to make it work with vasFMC?
I see that the vasFMC-msfs-gauge-setup-2.1 executable loads the WMM2005.COF file. Could the PA team give consideration to updating this and adding the revised file to the downloads?
