Hello,

I have been trying real hard to understand how to add 3rd party aircraft add-ons in P3D v4... It doesnt seem to be the old way of just dumping the aircraft in the simobjects aircraft folder (and the effects into effects, etc...).

Does anyone have an idea how to go about? I cannot seem to find a tutorial on how to do this on the web... I saw a complicated .xml edit post, but the last thing I want to do is to play around with an .xml file...

just add the A/C like you would in FSX. its the same. if the model is not a native FSX model then it will not work in V4 as V4 dropped support for FS9 models.
