During the summer, a few former Northwest 757s were flown in from the desert. Now, they are being scrapped. Here is a picture of one of them:

Define irony (for geeky aircraft enthusiasts such as ourselves): Delta is scrapping NWA 752s, but (as far as I know) keeping the DC9s that are twice as old and are fully depreciated (book value = $0).
