Many other people thought after the A380 is the end of Project Airbus, but I always know PA would be unforgetable and they will live for ever!Great job guys! The A321 is going to win!

Re: The Poll !
Hi,
ive voted for the 321. It would complete the smallbody series. But i would also place a second and third vote, A400M as second (any quality 400M freeware would be gold) and the complete A330/340 series as third vote.
cheers

A345/A346.
The FS community has been lacking a good one for years (I don't count Thomas Ruth's one because it's FSX only. Sorry, Mr. Ruth!)
Simubuild's looks like crap
The CLS A345/A346 is getting long in the tooth
The Thai A345 looks amazing
The Virgin A346 looks like a hot rod
I've dreamed of a Project Airbus A340-500/600 for so long
I would love to have a nice Lufthansa A346 in my FS collection
IFDG betrayed me by abandoning their A345 project.
Everyone can wait a bit longer for an A321. No offense to A321 lovers. I like it myself, but it's time to give the A345/A346 some justice in the FS community.
You guys would only be making the A321 to have everyone shut up about the lack of one being made by you.
You guys went from the smallest (A318) to the largest (A380). Now you can either do the oldest (A300/A310) or the longest (A340-600 = length, A340-500 = distance).

Re: The Poll !
Well, it would be nice to see some Virtual cockpits for the A32X series. But I voted for the A330 because it is my second favorite aircraft next the the 777
Re: The Poll !
An A321 would be best solution because you could strech the A320!
Re: The Poll !
I'd love to see an A340-500/600... just saying The A321 is so boring, what's so special about it haha
Re: The Poll !
I was surprised to see the A319 and the A320 as you already have a wonderful model made...
I voted the A321 as there is a need for a freeware model since IDFG... Maybe you can make a better one than Overland's --I know you can
Or perhaps the A340-200/300... Knowing what you can do with the A380, I just can imagine what wonderful products can come out still
Maybe you can start making FSX .mdl's... I'm sure that would be wonderful for many of us here
Thanks for your work!
Happy flying!

Thomas Ruth is the FSX expert and i talked to him. He said he can't also make an A380 FSX mdl because he has only the MAX trialversion!

Why would he need 3ds max? Our A380 is in Gmax format.
Re: The Poll !
A318, A319, A320, You got em'. A321, iFDG's got em'. A330 Family, Project Opensky's got em'. A340-200/300's Project Opensky's still got em'. Who has the A340-500/600? Simubuild sure doesn't with there crappy models. Were not talking about FSX, this is FS2004. Project Airbus, this is your time to have your name up on the board's once again after the A380. Two back to back nominees and victor's. You released your A380 shortly after Posky's 747-8F, EVERYONE covered the A380 rather than the 747-8F. That's a victory for you. If you guys make the A345/6 family, you've got another victory, this time WITHOUT competition! You guys know your the best. You've proved it once with the A380 beating the payware from Overland. Show us again with the A340-500/600 beating the CLS models. <--- Let that speech sink in Pairbus members. Thank you.

I wouldn't consider it a competition per se. However your sentiments echo the case I've been vehemently making for some time and I will say it until I'm blue in the face. However our case shows a huge and I mean HUGE void in an A345/A346.
As they say, a picture speaks a thousand words. This is why I want Project Airbus to make an A340-500/600 instead of an A321.
IFDG A321
Simubuild A346
Any of you still thinking of an A321 seriously puzzles me to no end as to why after you have seen that A346 above as the ONLY freeware A346 model that can operate in FS9 that is NOT AI! Keep in mind we've been waiting much much longer for a good A346 than an A321 and honestly IFDG's A321 does not look too bad.

A vote is a vote the IFDG is getting old. Please don't turn this into a WW3!

Re: The Poll !
Just because it's older doesn't automatically make it worse; it's how it's made that determines the replacement. Take Meljet's 777 for example. I still know people who are flying that around and for a model that old, it looks reasonable. Same thing goes with IFDG's A321.1021744 wrote:A vote is a vote the IFDG is getting old. Though just for the record, the simubuild A346 is actually older than said IFDG A321. Oh and might I remind everyone that their A321 does have wing flex.
Comparing the A321 and the A345/A346 is almost akin to comparing a hospital visit for a patient with a broken leg to that of one with a severed artery.
Re: The Poll !
Why not the A321?
Since they already have the base of the A320 with most parts being almost the same. I would think it would take a relatively small development period to complete. Whereas the A340-500/600 would be from scratch and take much longer.
I would like to see both though.

They'd might as well make it since it would be a matter of stretching the fuse, re-cutting the wing, and re-texturing. However I see a FAR more compelling case for an A340-500/600.
Re: The Poll !
Off Topic:
When the A380 is in gmaxformat, there maybe a FSXnative A380 from Thomas Ruth!

I don't think an A321 would take long so that a good thing and then i'm sure they could make wich ever one comes #2

Re: The Poll !
I would LOVE and A332/3! Tom Ruth's one is spectacular, but it is wayy to shiny, and the wingflex isnt really up to my liking - apart from that - I love it! Well, it seems like the A321 is winning (no problem with that), but the A345/6 is catching up. I would imagine that the 321 would be a lot easier for you guys than a 345/6 since the you have already most of what is needed for it. So either a 321 or 332/3 from me . Oh, btw, the 380 is my favourite along with poskys 777

Re: The Poll !
I voted a321, cos, well, wilco's i annoying me,
but i allways thought there was room for a a319 remake, because i look at aerosofts airbus x program and one thing they have on their a319/20/21 i the curved spoilers, small detail, but it got to me.
but anyway i have cast my vote and back whether or not you decide to go ahead with these and whichever you do!

Interesting.. the A321 followed by the -500/-600 and the A330's seem to be a late bloomer!
Re: The Poll !
Strange, the link doesn't work for me, but I would also vote for the A321, though I also wouldn't mind some little updates for the former A320 family models (bringing the A320 to the standards of the A318/319, adding the double boogie version or the PW engines for the A318).

Re: The Poll !
A321 = stretch the fuselage from the A319, recut the wings, texture, done!
Though after the A32X family is updated, an A345/A346 is a must! The A330/A340 variants can probably be made pretty easily afterwards. The only main difference I can see besides the stretching/shrinking is the tail.
Did anyone else notice the A300/A310 wasn't listed?

Again I say, if they do the A321, they would make many of us here happy and finish the baby Airbus family -- If Overland's A321 is superb, imagine what PA can do!

True. With the Overland A321, a PA A321 will be like taking a hammer to it. An A345/A346 however would be like taking a concrete drill (you know, the ones construction workers use on roads) to the Simubuild one which is beyond horrible.
Re: The Poll !
Id love to see the 321. It would be great to have the series completed in my opinion. Id also like to see an update to the 320 with wingflex. I would kill to have wingflex on the 320.

While my vote originally did go to the a340 it may be best to work on the a320 family.
Update the
A318
A319
A320
And add the
A320 with winglets
A320 with double bogey
A321
As it would make the ultimate a32x series for fsx.

For a new model with more detail and more to date effects. The pa team said it was an outdated model but only ever so slightly as their modelling is un comparable for airbus models.

Re: The Poll !
The interesting thing with the A321 is I believe PA has stated they wont do a minimum change stretch. If they just took there current a320 model and stretched for an A321 I would be in love! But I believe they have stated that they don't want go backwards as far as there modeling activities which is perfectly understandable!
If the aircraft is to be an all new plane to me it should be the A340.
This is because to me it seems strange to have
A318, A319, A320 (All the same)
then the a321 different.
Whatever PA decides to do I'm sure it will be excellent excellent quality!

Oh yes, the A321, A345/6, and A332/3 are all in the top three. Whichever one of these is made, im fine with Lufthansa is a fine operator of all of them

I second that, the a320 sharklets are intriguing and i would like to see what could be done in updating the a319.
Re: The Poll !
Why would we want to update the A319 but not the A318 and the A320?
Re: The Poll !
I dont think any of those models should be updated unless its A320 Sharklets. Other than that, leave them alone, they are perfectly fine. Its the new planes people should be focused on, A330's A340's etc. So please people, stop with the updating for A318 and A319.
Re: The Poll !
Maybe a wingflexupdate for the A320 would be nice! But the A318 and 319 are good and the best models on the market!
Re: The Poll !
ok, i vote for the A321 because it fits into the A318/319/320 plan...
i think the a340-500/600 would be like the a380...
i vote for the A321 because the only thing fot the PA team to do is to strech the A320 and modify the flaps and the FDE
so i wish good luck !!

Re: The Poll !
Its just if they do come out with an A321 its possible that its going to be of higher detail then the former models hence the possible need/desire to update the other models.
The sharklet model however would be a fab addition updated or not. Just a beautiful and interesting looking thing in my opinion.

Re: The Poll !
Project Airbus has great planes out, I think an A320 with wing flex and optional heat blur would be a sufficient upgrade with the addition of the double bogie, and I'd really love to see the A321 to compete the Airbus narrow body line up. But that's just me, anything they make will be great!
Re: The Poll !
Esg already said it wasnt wingflex on the 320, but who knows. I still wish it could be done. Im sure many would agree with me on that.
Re: The Poll !
Thanks! lol. I hope it gets done sooner or later.
