Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
Don't know why would anybody dig in their wallet for this one, to be honest. The visual's good (albeit completely devoid of XML animations, including wingflex as far as I can tell), but PSS'/Wilco's systems are both far superior.
I guess if you're a big VC fan then yeah, this one's for you

It's delayed due to installation problems.

It's out!!!! Just look at those images..........really stunned by what they did, really want a pair of A380 wings as detailed as Aerosoft did on the PA A380.............

Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
There are limitations in fs2004 in deed making more detailed aircraft impossible........but still fsx is too demanding on the computer's performance, which makes me stick to fs2004, that's why I'm looking forward to see a new platform/simulator which let us enjoy the details of the aircraft and scenery, without killing too much frames....

Detailed in what respect? Detailed textures?sinsnowman wrote:It's out!!!! Just look at those images..........really stunned by what they did, really want a pair of A380 wings as detailed as Aerosoft did on the PA A380.............

When you look into the structure between the speed brakes and the wings, you can see all the supporting structure in the Aerosft's airbus.

But for the PA A380, the structure isn't accurately modeled, like the supporting pillers between the speed brakes and the wings, the flaps supporting structure isn't well textured as well. I don't know if it's because of the limitation of the poly, and I know I'm comparing a brand new state-of-art payware model with a freeware model which makes the whole thing unfair, but it would make the wing view much more realistic if the PA team can add more details on it =]

Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
FS9 models have a poly cap. We can't add all the details
Unfair, how? We got many things Aerosoft lacks (wingflex, for one)I know I'm comparing a brand new state-of-art payware model with a freeware model which makes the whole thing unfair

Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
Well at least it was designed for different platform..........too bad that fs2004 got poly limit and the worse thing is that it doesn't make use of my 3 other cpu cores........
Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
FS9 performs better on my system using 1 core than FSX using all 4
Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
It doesn't, there's a workaround. The thing is not many are interested in applying it.sinsnowman wrote:...too bad that fs2004 got poly limit

Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
Only if fs9 could use 4 of them.........we really could expect bursting framerate ^^
Re: Aerosoft Airbus X A320+A321
Well....
more than 60 is all unnecessary... I see about 100 fps in fs9 on ground, sometimes even in fsx during cruise....
