Hi i'm marijn and need desperate help..

I just can't download an a380 without it appearing white in fsx. I have searched some forums and they all say that I should turn off the DX10 preview in settings, but I can't find it...

I am desperate!!!

In the FSX settings, click on Display. On the first screen where you select the resolutions you will see towards the right a checkbox saying "Enable DirectX 10 preview". Uncheck it, exit FSX and restart it. All the textures should be OK now. And as a rule of thumb: bmp textures don't appear in DX10 (as is the case with most FS9 aircraft that are ported to FSX). The only textures that show up in DX10 are .dds.

If you can't find the checkbox, then you don't have Acceleration/SP2 installed=>No DX10. In this case, you may have forgotten to install the texture folder or messed with the texture= entry in Aircraft.cfg, in the respective aircraft's folder.

First thing may be right: I have an old computer, many things go wrong.
I'll try the repair function.
