New Version of Airbus A321/20/19

Post by TheScorpion »

Found it on Airbus website ,
On 1 December 2010, Airbus announced a new fuel-efficient engine option for the company’s A319, A320 and A321 – the A320neo – which is to significantly boost the environmental performance and overall cost-efficiency of these jetliners. In this video clip, Airbus’ Chief Operating Officer – Customers John Leahy provides details on the A320neo – which offers airline customers a choice between CFM International’s LEAP-X and Pratt & Whitney’s PurePower PW1000G. In addition to its lower fuel consumption, this engine option also will provide double-digit reductions in CO2 and NOx emissions, additional range and lower operating costs.
They are adding new “Sharklets” large wingtip and new engines.
