The Updated PA A32X FSX v2 models link is broken.

The URL https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/191 ... 110317.zip provided in viewtopic.php?f=10&t=638 does not work. Could you please update it?

Do you have a not-torrent link? If you don't, well, I think I must download uTorrent.

Couldn't download the file. uTorrent shows that it is connecting to the compis but the download stays at 0%.

You need to catch me seeding it. I was seeding it for like 10h, give or take, after I'd first posted it here.

I would like to politely ask if anyone could seed the torrents for pa380_fsx_mp_models_20110209.zip and pa318319320_fsx_mp_models_20110317.zip. I get a CTD when PA planes touch the ground in multiplayer, and as there seem to be no other ways of obtaining these files, I would really appreciate it if someone would be prepared to share. Of course I'll seed as well, once I've got them. ;)

Hello!

The links on AVSIM from A319FD, A320FD and A321FD are broken. Only the A318FD link is working. Could someone please fix it?

Thanks! :)

I removed A319, A320 and A321 V3, because IAE sounds are under copyright (TSS), an honest mistake on my part. I wanted them back, with new free sound set, but like the FD-FMC version is close to be release (panel is completed, I am writing the user manual) I prefer wait to upload the new version.

FD-FMC version is very better than V3 series .

I think that FD-FMC version will be ready at the end of september.

Hi, On the Project Airbus A321 FD special version v3, if I do an auto start up (Control + E) the ELEC HYD PUMP switch does not go out. Is it possible to code this small issue?

Hi Fatcat,

I am so sorry, but like I created a totally new version of the panel, I stopped to support the V3 version (no enough time). The next panel, called "FD-FMC" will bring much improvement.

The last beta is now steady and without bugs. You can download the beta aircraft pack 0.77 on my website : http://freenavdbgroup.com/

and after install it, you have just to download the last panel version (0.77N) and the airport database.

All is on the website.

User manual is under cnostruction. This new panel is 100 more time better than the old V3.

Hi Francois

Thank you very much for all these improvements of your panel!

It seems to me that FMC works fine, but strangely I got only one DLL alert acceptance by FSX (don't remember which one! sorry). Neither these two DLLs appears in [Trusted] section in FSX.cfg file. So I don't know if FMC is fully working or not! I can input values and switch across the pages, but maybe some others functionalities don't work.

Just an other note: the last two small icons on the bottom right corner of the panel don't work (no click), but I guess it is because the panel is still in beta?

Thanks

Hi Prosdocimo,

About the DLLs, FMC can't work if one DLL is not properly installed.

- LoggerX.dll is used to read/write files (read the SID/STAR/Approach data and save the flight plan modified and the FMC data)
- XMLVars.dll (or XMLTools.dll, the new version) is necessary for the FMC to use string data, because the FSX xml code can use numbers only by default; SO without this DLL, FD-FMC can't store in memory, data read by LoggerX and you can't use the keyboard of the FMC.

read again the install manual :
- LoggerX must be placed in the FSX "Modules" folder (if you have FSUIPC, this folder already exists, if you havn't, you must create this folder)
- XMLVars.dll or XMLTools.dll must be placed in the FSX root folder.

After, you must declare the 2 DLLs in the DLL.XML file, like is described in the install manual.

Hello, François. I'd like to ask you something. When the PA A32X FD v3 are in Normal Law, the fly-by-wire is active. However, when landing, it the FBW seems to disable itself at 100' RA (radio altimeter). From 100' RA to touchdown, the movements in the joystick seem to be directly linked to the plane's rudder, ailerons and elevators, without any processing of the fly-by-wire whatsoever. That produces some kind of a jolting movement before the flare that is not very pleasant.

Why does this happen? Is it coded in the FD version or it just happens to me?
Thanks.

Hi Francois, thank you for your clarify, but I have already done what the manual tells. Of course I also added the new lines in DDL.xml.

I can put values in FMC by keyboard, it seems working by the way. The only weird stuff is that FSX missed ask me about one of the two DLLs. Anywat I tested FMC today once again and it seems working fine! I got a nice climb ordered by FMC

Hello, I am having an issue with the A320's autopilot. I can't seem to get it to engage properly, I set it all prior to takeoff, and then the aircraft locks in the bank and pitches up to around 3,000 to 4,000 f/pm and will not respond to any inputs I make to the autopilot other than to disengage it. The autothrottle button lights, up but does not function. Also, once in the air, autopilot or not, the controls are very sluggish to do anything. It is slow to respond and when it does it only moves a small bit, regardless of how much input I put in. It is very clumsy in the air.

Any help you could provide would be highly appreciated.

Heyho!

I have an problem with P3Dv2. The Plane is properly working but, there is one little Problem. The Start-up procedure is somehow broken. I can start the first engine without any problems, but the second one isn't starting properly. N2 is rising, but N1 or Fuel Flow is never increasing. N1 gets stuck at 24.8% and after some secs of waiting it cuts automatically the 2nd engine. I follow the checklist provided by Francois and in FSX it worked perfectly. Has someone the same problem or does anybody know if this problem with the new FD-FMC version is fixed?

I know this is an old thread, but it seems to have strayed off topic. I have read through the entire thread and did not see anyone else asking so....

I know you stopped working on V3. But are they ALL still available for download anyway?

Avsim seems to have removed all but the A318 base pack (pa318fd_v3.zip). And I found the A321 base pack (pa321fd_v3.zip) on another site.

But I still cannot find the A319 and A320 base packs that you originally posted links to at the beginning of this post. I tried Googling for pa319fd_v3.zip and pa320fd_v3.zip but no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks and good luck with the next project!

Well, considering that the FD-FMC A320 is practically ready and that François has planned to adapt his FMC to the rest of the 32S, I don't really think he's going to spend too much time in the A320 v3.

I found a website where all the old V3 version are available : http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php ... d=37121551

Note : A321 has an updated panel (V3.05) to download.

But I think that new version (FD-FMC) is very very very better.

A320 FD-FMC is completed, I am waiting only the english translation of the user manual. And I have already begin to work on A318 FD-FMC.

Thanks guys. You might note I already acknowledged and am aware that he abandoned the V3 project. :) "I know you stopped working on V3..."

I was just wondering if the "Complete Pack" downloads were still available even though he's working on a new project.

As far as FlightSim.com. Been a proud member since the 90s. I tried your link Francois, but I see nothing. (I know FlightSim.com resets the saved searches to save server space so that's probably why. Links to actual files will work, but not search result pages.)

I downloaded the updated panel for the A321 already. I was more interested in the complete packs you did for the A319 and A320. I tried searching your name or something like "Project Airbus V3" but no luck. Thanks anyway. I'll just wait I guess.

Keep up the awesome job! Bravo.

Well, the A320 FD-FMC is ready and (I guess) it will be between one and two months to have the rest of the 32S adapted with the FD-FMC.

Increase the joystick sensitivity in FSX settings. I aalso recommend you upgrade to the A320 (and A318) FD-FMC. A319 & A321 are work in progress.

Please do you have the link for the upgrade?? I'm using the A320, but not with a joystick, with my mouse  I set the sensitivity on max, I just can fly turning off the FLT CTL, but still hard

Create a default flight, with any aircraft, engines turn off; Save this flight and I think that your problem will be solved.

I haven't P3D, but in FSX, default flight may occurs a problem with cold and dark state code.

Yeah, that didn't work. The problem with engine cut off during take-off doesn't exist anymore. It's strange when I use the default CTRL+E shortcut to start the engines, the problematic 2nd engine starts too.

I am sorry cloneable. But I don't know where is the problem. I haven't P3D to do some test and V3 panel is no longer supported, because new FD-FMC panel will replace it.

I know that some user have tested new FD-FMC panel with P3D and I never get some feedback about a startng enfgine problem.

Try FD-FMC panel...

Thanks for all your amazing work on the A3xx range!

Are there links to the latest work with the FD_FMC panels installed? I see the links to the V3 models in the original post - do I download them and install the new panel?

Thanks!

You are welcome!

Of course to have the maximum experience with François' panel just download the airports package that you find here (last file: FD_FMC airports pack V4 11072015.zip):

http://freenavdbgroup.com/?page_id=136

The database is continuously updated and includes airport informations, SIDs, STARs and final approaches routes. Please follow the other thread for panel and airports database updates!

Hello Francois,
Your works are amazing, but I have a small problem. When I install your works, The aircraft appears in the cold and dark situation, but I can' t access the Overhead panel (Shift+5 won' t do anything), and non of the systems (heading, autopilot, speed, course, vertical speed) turn on. When I use C+E to start my engines, Engine 1 starts but turns off automatically before actually starting. I am running on FSX without DSX 10, without SP1 and SP2. Please help me to be able to fly your amazing aircraft.
Thanks,

Hello Toegs,

About overhead issue, you need SP2. All my panels requires FSX SP2 or acceleration pack or P3D..

SP2 is here : https://www.microsoft.com/Products/Game ... Pack2.aspx

About engine start, try to create a fefault flight with any aircraft on the ground, engine turn off and your problem will disappear.
