Yeah, it's like an experiment. Mind you that this is not XML, nor normal C++. That is GDI+, which is a rendering system within windows itself.

Interesting...So I'm assuming this was run within FSX? If so, does GDI+ affect frames like some XML or C++ code?

Yes it was run within FSX. I didn't notice a drop in frames and actually, it was much smoother in operation than XML and C++.

That's quite amazing! What can it be applied to? Anything XML or C++ controlled? That really opens up possibilities!

The variables are read from Simconnect and then applied to animate the GDI+ gauge

GDI+ havent heard that programming in FS for a long time. I think Eric did that for the Fs2002 A320/330/340 panels.
