Gear Animation

Hi guys,
lately, I noticed that when lowering/retracting the landing gear, in fsx the animation is much smoother than in fs2004. I wonder how this can be since I see 60fps in both flight simulators (locked).

Aircraft: A320

FS9 is dumb and can only animate 1 frame per second
