A321 Panel

First off, Thank You to the Team who created the Airbus 321. I downloaded the A321 Base Package, and the Air Canada Livery, from the main page.-

I prefer to be realistic when I fly, like most people. So this means, I need a manual to see the Flap Speed Limits, V-Speeds, and etc. I went to http://www.pairbus.com/discussion/viewt ... ?f=6&t=376 . (Derek's Guide). However, the link was broken. Using google, think I found another copy of that Manuel: http://www.philskies.net/library/peterb ... manual.pdf .

That's when I realized the flap's in the A321's panel wasn't done like an Airbus. If I'm correct, I think that's a 737 panel. It's kinda hard to follow a manual when you are in a different cockpit.

Can someone help me fly this thing? Perhaps, I'd like to know if you used a different panel?

The flaps are accurate, the 737 panel gauges just don't reflect the flap settings properly.

I simply press F6 and F7 as required to get the desired flap setting. Pressing F7 once gives flaps 1, twice gives flaps 1+F, three times gives flaps 2, and so on.

I'm curious though...The A321 doesn't go over 4. But for the 737, you'd pass that. So wouldn't you have more than full flaps on the A321? I might be wrong, but I'm slightly confused.

My host was experiencing issues and the server kept rebooting every 24-48 hrs for the past week, and Id not set up an init script for the web server... which is why that link wasn't working

Ah. I see. Does everyone here use the default 737 panel, or is there a good panel out there?

4....Um... I mean, Airbus doesn't measure in degrees like a 737. So when you go to full flaps on the panel, wouldn't you be doing more than full on the A321?

Fwiw—the flap angles are set in the Aircraft.cfg; the gauge on the panel just reads what position the flaps are in, I presume. As the A320 has only got 6 (5, really), selecting flaps FULL the gauge would probably say they're in position '15' (which is the 737's 6th flap position)

Ken Mitchell's A320 can be best for FS9 Users:

It's the best airbus panel I've used when I was using FS9.
