Spoilers and GPS?

Post by AF1809 »

Hello,

So, after some testing's days, I notice some things that I need to talk with you :

- According to your manual, the spoilers have the ARM position. But I can't arm it whatever by mouse than with shift+/. Because I've tried some RTO but the spoilers didn't move. (VAS version)
With the PA version, same problem. Also, when spoilers deployed, it says spoilers armed...
=> is there a procedure to arm spoilers?

- According to your manual again, to operate the OIT, I have to click on it and a pop up will appear. But it doesn't work for the VAS version.

- I won't talk about the engines start switches because already reported.

So, what's wrong?

Optional question : what about signs and TO CONFIG button?

Thanks for all you do.

No.1: In FS9 you can only arm spoilers with Shift+/
No.2: It did work for me last time I checked some weeks ago. Will take another look at it.
No.3: FS9 has a strange thing with engine start switches. It wants you to either hold Lclick on them (spring loaded ala 737), or click about a million times on the pushbutton to keep it pressed (ala 380). Couldnt' find a workaround for that.
Optional: Didn't make them

Super, but :

When I press Shift+/, the spoilers aren't armed but deployed whatever the version.

Otherwise, thanks for answer. I'll operate with it...

Bad news :

the problem of arming the spoilers happen to all my planes (I've tried with all default Boeing) and according to what I saw, it's out of your responsability...

If you're on the ground they'll usually deploy when you try to arm them while the throttle is at idle. Try arming them shortly before your takeoff roll and keep the throttle above idle.

So, I've just tried it and it works. Thank you so much.

Finally, I still have the problem with the OIT with VAS version. I know it's not very useful but...
