A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
Hey guys,
in FS9 im having a issue where when you turn on the taxi and or landing lights they come on but for one dont illuminate the ground so you can see. they are pointing outward if that makes sense. I know you can move the direction of the landing lights but what about the taxi lights? Arent those supposed to be dead on centered?

Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
thanks...that may very well be the issue
Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
I have a similar issue. With the FSX models I see this.

With the new FS9 2.1 models I see this.

Is this expected when using the FS9 models in FSX? If not is there a fix? Is there fix in general?

Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
I will give it a shot, but like I said it only happens when I use the FS9 models. FSX models look fine, even Project Opensky models work, same with other freeware FS9 models.
Has any other FSX users had this problem?

Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
I was able to get to be better, but the FSX model landing lights still look different then FS9 models do. Is this on purpose PA team?
Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
Nope. Can you take another screenshot now youve replaced the spotlight bmp?
Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
New 2.1 FS9 model, the lights do the same thing with the old FS9 models

FSX model

I can move the lights forward, but the taxi light remains the same. Make it hard to taxi.

Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
Failed to mention, other aircraft look fine lights go out a long way. Just not with the 2.1 model. The A380 is just fine.

Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights

Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
esg just curious why the lights are tilted downward? and you cant tilt the taxi up only the landing lights.
Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
Looks like it was a conscious design decision. They might be like that on the real thing, I don't know
Theyve always been this way, for the record

Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
Where are the PA effects so I can change the spotlight bmp? Can't find them anywhere.
Re: A32X Series Landing and Taxi lights
