Making the A320 "fuel efficient"

Post by FlyByFire1256 »

To combat the moronic payload manager of FSPassengers, if in the Aircraft.cfg I go to:

fuel_flow_scalar=1.086

and I adjust it to a smaller number would that make the plane burn less fuel in the sim?

Hi,

I want to ask, if there are bigger differences between the IAE and CFM engines in the fuel flow ratio? And which value would be closer to real consumption?

Best reagards,
Elmar

180 pax is the max passenger load for an A320. It's not 'moronic', but not too many airlines operate the 320 with that many seats. B6, for example, seats 150 in a single class configuration. Most legacy carriers with the 320 in their fleet have similar numbers (considering a mixed class configuration, bank on a number between 145 and 165). Most airlines with 180 as their configuration are charter companies and/or LCCs.

yea i know but if 180 still doesn't satisfy the needs of "FlyByFire1256" then I would suggest flying the a380. I normally have more or less 800 PER FLIGHT.
