FS9 A380 FSNAV Question

Hello Project Airbus,

First and foremost, thanks for the wonderful A380. It is very well modeled and highly realistic, and our pilots love it. I am writing on behalf of my VA, alMirath Arabian Airlines (http://www.ArabianVA.com).

This inquiry pertains to FS Navigator & the PA A380 for FS2004, utilizing the VC model. I have attempted to research this issue many times, and have found nothing helpful on these boards. The file for the A380 we use is identical to the PA Base Package, except for the fact that we provide a 2D panel option as well as our own textures for our VA (file here: http://arabianva.com/downloads/2011-Fle ... X-FULL.zip).

I am using FSNavigator (latest version prior to it being no longer offered for released), AIRAC 1101, and FS9.1.

When FSNavigator is activated, the heading bug does not react, and the aircraft flies whatever heading I input into the Autopilot. Is there any way to allow FSNavigator to communicate with the PA A380 VC model, and if so, how would that be done?

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Gary replaced the sim vars for the hdg and a few other things with custom vars, you'll have to change these back to the defaults in the XML files inside the _ap folder. Check any of Ken Mitchell's Airbus panels for reference

Is there a way to get those values listed to change back or a file that we can download from Project Airbus to update it for us neophytes that don't feel comfortable messing with a great product?

Don't worry experimenting. At the moment I'm focusing a bit on other things and don't really have time to see those things. An xml file can be opened in notepad and you can compare the vars with Ken's as esg suggested.

can u delete the fbw gauge from the panel.cfg in the vcockpit01 section?
