Wilco/PA merge

Post by jmrtlara » 27 Apr 2012, 01:06

Alright, so here's what I did -- copied the entire Wilco panel folder to the PA folder, that's it!

I would assume the V2.1 is merge ready somehow. It flies great! Feels totally different from the Wilco. The very reason I decided to switch is to experience some changes. So I don't really want to merge the panel alone, and still carry over Wilco's dynamics.

Why I posted this is to ask if what I did is 'OKAY' or acceptable. But so far, aside from the slow spool up and slow climb, I have no problems with it. The fly-by-wire is better felt than in the Wilco where it takes so much time before the aircraft trims itself. I'm getting almost instantaneous reaction with the V2.1

Thanks folks!

Okay or acceptable in what respect?

I should have been clearer.. what I intend to ask is: did I do the merge correctly, in a sense that it will not harm, or affect the dynamics, or performance of the aircraft. Since the panel was just copied from Wilco and that's it. Thanks! :)
