PA A320 v3 no ground friction (FSX)

Post by Pe11e »

Does anyone have a problem with PA A320 v3 moving on taxiway when the throttle is on IDLE? It is quite irritating when you are taxing to the runway, even on idle I must use the brakes, or airplane will accelerate constantly. Is there any way to edit this in aircraft.cfg, or is it hardcoded?

This is normal. When aircraft is low weigh, aircraft is moving at idle. ;)

I think it is on maximum weight by default when I start a flight, checked payload dialog.

Write down here your aircraft gross weight.

Hmmm I've just realised that aircraft is moving on idle with FSPassengers, with 140 passengers and 50% fuel.

I meant gross weigh in Kilograms.

*EDIT: Try to load full tanks of fuel, and try to add more payload in to your aircraft. Then test it at idle..

isn't it standard procedure to put the parking brakes on while standing still on a taxiway? with the parking brake on, the plane shouldnt move, right?

It'd still crawl a little forward in the sim. It's 'cos of the way idle taxi is implemented.
