PA/Project Airbus And PSS Merge

PA/Project Airbus And PSS Merge

Hi all

We have try this merge and everything works fine, the only problem we have is that when we select the CFM variation, the engine display are showing the IAE engine configuration.

I mean at the top is showing as IAE, the "EPR" and not the "N1" as it should.

Any help, suggestion?

Thanks in advance

I remember it being something as simple as including 'CFM' in the title, but it's been a long time since I've last flown the A320

Open your aircraft.cfg file and go the aircraft sections (those labelled [fltsim.0], [fltsim.1], etc). You need to add either CFM or IAE to the aircraft's title to define the engine cluster. For example, find this line:

title=Project Airbus A320-211 Air Canada 65th

and change it to:

title=Project Airbus A320-211 Air Canada 65th CFM

Hi all

Derek I have another question, if you don't mind.

So what was happening is that I was experience high pitch during final approach.

I have search and found the following which is applies to the PSS Airbus aircraft.cfg.
The guide says to add,

The PSS A320 has a very high pitch during final approach and touchdown when I select approach speed?! Open your aircraft.cfg (which is located in the aircraft’s folder, open it with wordpad), and make sure the following lines are correct.

[Flaps.0]
type=1
span-outboard=0.500000
extending-time=20.000000
system_type=1
flaps-position.0=0.000000,0.000000
flaps-position.1=7.998491,0.000000
flaps-position.2=15.996982,0.000000
flaps-position.3=23.995472,0.000000
flaps-position.4=31.993963,0.000000
flaps-position.5=39.992454,0.000000
lift_scalar = 1.42

At this merge it is a must to copy the [Flaps.0] config from the PSS aircrfat.cfg to the new PA/PSS merged aircraft.cfg which is from Project Airbus, in oder to work the flap settings correct.

My problem is that at every repaint that I have download and use for merge, I am talking for similar aircrafts, A320 IAE repaints,
these settings are different almost at every repaint, for example, example1 and example2,

example1
[Flaps.0]
type=1
span-outboard=0.500000
extending-time=20.000000
system_type=1
flaps-position.0=0.000000,0.000000
flaps-position.1=7.998491,0.000000
flaps-position.2=15.996982,0.000000
flaps-position.3=23.995472,0.000000
flaps-position.4=31.993963,0.000000
flaps-position.5=39.992454,0.000000
lift_scalar=0.0
drag_scalar=0.0

example2
[Flaps.0]
type=1
span-outboard=0.500000
extending-time=20.000000
system_type=1
flaps-position.0=0.000000,0.000000
flaps-position.1=7.998491,0.000000
flaps-position.2=15.996982,0.000000
flaps-position.3=23.995472,0.000000
flaps-position.4=31.993963,0.000000
flaps-position.5=39.992454,0.000000
damaging-speed = 233.0
blowout-speed = 250.0
lift_scalar = 0.85
drag_scalar = 0.8
pitch_scalar = 1.1
system_type = 1 //Hydraulic

What I am asking is what is the exactly and correct [Flaps.0] for the PA Airbus A320 IAE or where I can find it.

Someone told me that you have not published "aircraft.cfg"s, is it correct, I remember I couldn't find also at the download files.

Thanks in advance
