Project Airbus – Talk

Hi guys!

Recently, i manage to brought up the "upper ecams" (or the E/WD screen) in my pa380 with the vc panel of "facked" (this is for the individuals who use the vc panel provided by "facked"). The culprit is in the Title section of the aircraft.cfg. It is the absence of the magic word "ANTEXP".

The steps are simple.

1.) open the aircraft.cfg of pa380
2.) Within there, edit the "title" section in any livery/texture you wish for the "upper ecams" to come up in the vc.
Here is the format:

[fltsim.0]
title = Project Airbus (a380 series type) (name of the airline) (type of engine) VC ANTEXP PAgauges HUDL HUDR

Example:

[fltsim.0]
title = Project Airbus A380-861 Singapore Airlines EA VC ANTEXP PAgauges HUDL HUDR
.
.
.
.
[fltsim.1]
title = Project Airbus A380-861 Malaysian Airlines EA VC ANTEXP PAgauges HUDL HUDR

_for first timers_

1.) Download the pa380 here in this link http://www.rikoooo.com/en/downloads/viewdownload/6/560 (free registration req'd)
2.) run the setup
3.) locate the directory of the newly installed aircraft.
4.) follow the above steps.

try this steps

1.)try my method once again above

2.) you asked that "if this works in rr engines" give it a go because i think it does. Go to the model folder of the pa380. i strongly believe that it has the file name "A380_800_VC_EA" (make sure your .mdl file is a vc version not a wingview version. i think rr vc model has the file name of this: A380_800_VC_RR). replace "A380_800_VC_EA" with "A380_800_VC_RR"

3.) if it has still nasty reflections after you put the words req'd in my method in the aircraft.cfg (VC, ANTEXP, etc.), try my reflection file in the vc : https://www.dropbox.com/s/3now3oamdazqe ... lect_t.bmp

4.) If you followed step 3, go to the texture folder and replace the reflection file that exists there with the ones in the link above.

5.) please feedback for the result.
