A380 cruising problem

Post by nickbellic »

Hello Paf Team,
Only now I noticed, I was checking my planes in order if there is any problem such as fuel consumption, air speed, thrust, etc and I noticed that my Airbus A380 can't maintain level at service altitude and normal speed, M.92/M.86. Even if it's climbing at V/S 1000feet it will speed down and eventually stall. I tried change the weight or thrust per engine close to real, but I realized that I was "hacking" the plane capability.
I downloaded the standard one after this event and it stay the same, any guess? :/

Best of Regards

I suppose you must do a step climb. As you go hiher and higher, the air gets thinner and thinner. If you take-off and climb straight up to your cruising altitude, the airplane may be too heavy for the thin air.

Perhaps you should try to climb, let's say, to FL330, after you burn some more fuel, to FL350 and continue doing the same until you get to your CRZ ALT.
