My FSX SE does not recognize any airplane ... namely PA. Need help.

Post by joao_carvalho »

Good evening.

I would like to ask for help on how to put the aircraft in FSX Steam Edition.

I've tried various ways, changing the files by changing .... I have lost count of the changes I made and FSX SE does not recognize the aircraft.

Does the problem is in my FSX SE?

I lost a whole day trying to resolve the issue and unfortunately without success.

Someone could give me a hand ... an idea of what might be wrong ??

I have textures for A319 / A320 / A321.

I was advised to invest in PA and I'm not sorry ... just wanted the planes were recognized by SE FSX.

Thank you in advance attention and available help.

Best Regards

Try those. They worked on me with the fs9 model into fsx... I don't like the fsx model cz it doesn't have any internal wingviews.
1) Make sure you are using the correct model.
2) You need to copy the fsx camera specifications from the default A321 aircraft.cfg to the PA aircraft.cfg
3) In the texture folder make sure you have a jpg image named thumbnail
4) In the texture folder make sure you have a texture.cfg if not copy paste one from a default aircraft
5) Make sure that the entries on the aircraft.cfg for model, air files, texture are correct.

Cheers.
