Nice one ESG, it works a treat, Thanks alot
Re: A380 Support - FSX Related Queries
I used that tool.Thank esg for posting.A good radius is 44 meters. Its not the same as the fs9 version but very close!:D
Re: A380 Support - FSX Related Queries
Thanks esg works likes a charm and thanks for having patience with us
I found that 42.0977172851563 for the radius work great with the model.

i downloaded the lufthansa a380 model. it works great. nice physics and wingflex.
sadly though it pulls to the right on taxiways and runways.
what can i do? i use mouse, keyboard and fsx sp1
i've got similar issues with toms a340. the 330 works perfectly

Disable mouse yoke and try it with the keyboard? Does it still happen?
Re: A380 Support - FSX Related Queries
Can someone please put together a tutorial on how to get the newly release virtual cockpit to work in FSX? There are many users that have no idea how to get this to work, any idea?
Thanks, appreciate the help.

yes but how do u fix itatlanticsun wrote:Just a shot note about the engine displacement problem:
It was caused by a lightmap texture file that got corrupted somehow.
@ mods
As this problem was caused by a texture file and not the aircraft itself, feel free to (re)move the posts regarding this problem to keep this thread clean
Re: A380 Support - FSX Related Queries
cos im having the same problem with the engines at 90 degrees and I don't know what to do so if someone could tell me how to fix this error that would be really appreciated

Project Airbus Team! it's been two years since i first utilize your A380 in FSX. And yet again, thank you for this masterpiece
One question though, is there any way to reduce the intensity of this aircraft's landing and taxi lights? Because whenever i used this aircraft's landing and taxi lights, they are so intense that i cannot see many parts of the road (taxiway, runway etc.). Thanks for any reply!

this wasn't answered 5 months ago, so i thought of posting pictures
(dusk,night,dawn)
These are the "taxi lights" look like:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mpmfqhizpw5yh ... -7-141.BMP
These are the "landing lights" look like:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fq8mxym31ajl4 ... 13-376.BMP
And together, these are "Taxi and Landing Lights" look like:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/17odbkgnuxcxu ... 17-590.BMP
If i use "taxi lights" only, whenever I'm taxiing, I'm having a difficulty taxiing because of the intensity of the light effects.
If i use "landing lights" only, whenever I'm taking-off/landing , I'm having a difficulty keeping in the centerline of the runway because of the intensity of the light effects.
Because for me, the making of the light effects are a bit exaggerated, IMHO.
So, yet again, is there any way to reduce the intensity of this aircraft's landing and taxi lights? Please if someone can modify this.
Or is there options in the FSX menu that solves this problem? (Sorry, if i missed it )
Thanks for any reply!
Mark

Re: A380 Support - FSX Related Queries
I recently installed the A380 for FSX (pa_a380_vc_fsx.zip) and see the same thing with landing and taxi lights as posted by Markm24 (above). My question is the same one.... Is the brightness of the landing and/or taxi lights controlled by the transparency of the alpha layer on a texture sheet somewhere? ...or is the intensity determined by the effect file? ...or is it a combination of both? If it's a texture sheet, is it the default Halo.bmp that it uses or some part of the sheets that came with the A380? If it's a A380 texture sheet, what's the name of the texture sheet please? If I can get that far, I can edit it mayself. Thank you for a WONDERFUL model.
