Does anyone have a merge for....

Post by xparamorex316 »

Has anyone merge the Pairbus A320 with the Wilco A320.
I want to merge the two but with all the merges i have tried they seem
to have some weird occurance along with them which is understandable.
But does anyone have a merge that they have tested and works fine for them.?

if anyone does can you please post it here.

thanks - paul

Mergings in FS2004 are not possible in the same way that it's possible in FSX...for example you can use the wilco panel for Pairbus models, but there isn't any garantee that wilco systems can work properly with pairbus .air files...because they are tuned for the wilco original aircraft .air files...and in any case you can not merge the pairbus model with wilco virtual cockpit models...in FS2004 Virtual cockpits, virtual cabins and external models are all grouped in the same mdl file...so only with FSX native models you can alias virtual cockpits...but there is always the question about how will the panel work with an airfile tuned for FS2004... For Example I merged with project airbus FSX compiled A318, A319, and A320 models with panel and virtual cockpit of the default A321..they work all well and look even better in FSX, but flight dinamics perform better in FS2004...and there are better panels for A3xx models than the default FSX A321 panel(the vas FMC pairbus tuned panels are very good for example providing that you take your time to read the VAS FMC manual)...
