Are the A320 series files on AVSIM?

Post by digitaldave71 » 03 Jan 2011, 12:33

Just a quick question, are all the PA files now hosted on AVSIM? I've found the FSX MDLs, but I need the original files as well.

Also, how do I tell which files are the original PA uploads, and not a repaint by someone else? Are they listed with just 'Project Airbus' as the author, or do they also have the PA member's name that did a specific repaint (e.g 'Project Airbus - Tom Collins' - don't know if he did any of the A320s originally, just using that as an example ;)).

Thanks,

Dave.

Nope, the A320's were all lost last year AVSIM was hacked, but you can still find them on flightsim.com.

Official files are categorised under "Flight Simulator 2004 - Original Aircraft" or "Flight Simulator X - Original Aircraft"

Great, thanks for the reply. I'd only checked AVSIM so far, as I hadn't realised they would be on flightsim.com.

Regards,

Dave.

Would anyone happen to know what while name on flightsim.com (or I suppose AVSIM) has the latest A320 CFM model?

I'm hoping to find one with the LiveTV hockey puck antenna for a Frontier Airlines livery (and maybe a way to turn off the exhaust effect like the 318/319 have through the water rudder, or maybe a version where the nose strut doesn't compress as much when tapping the brakes).

Thank you.

They all have it; you have to remove the black alpha from misc_1
(and maybe a way to turn off the exhaust effect like the 318/319 have through the water rudder
Not been done for the A320

Is there a way to physically remove the .fx file then? (assuming that's what it is; what would it be named in that case?)

Not an .fx file; it's hardcoded
