- Textures Blurry even after using Imagetool?

Post by NoseGear » 20 Mar 2011, 22:35

I'm working on a POSKY B777-200 repaint and the textures are complete and I ran them through Imagetool but they are still blurry when loaded in FS2004.
There are no MipMaps.
I used the original POSKY 777 paintkit in Photoshop

Any ideas why this is happening and how to solve it?

Remove mip maps when saving

It's a lack of alpha information (a common problem with imagetool - it loses the alpha channel if it's entirely blank). I suggest either using DXTBMP instead or making sure via photoshop that there's a bit of detail on the alpha channel (say a slightly different shaded rectangle away from any of the mapped parts on the bitmap).
