The engines where easy... Just the color and a copy paste of the logo.. but the tail!! Uhhh!! Couldn't get any logo to paste it.. so I made it by hand! Many layers, believe me!!

ok, but i mean you can also do your own...
i just have problems with engines because i don't know how to make the dirt effects etc.
So if someone can help, please send me an PM and explain how to paint engines like " Denis minaevs"

When I'll finish with the Qatar one I can do what ever you want!

I use Photoshop! Since I've done other things than aircrafts... (see http://dotsalgon.deviantart.com/#/d2q3yre)

So I only know how not to overpaint the dirt with PhotoShop.. Just add a new layer with the option of multiply!

Some more progress...

It's a little bit difficult to align the colors and the lines of the logo since the fuselage is cut in 3 pieces.
Is there a trick to it?

No I ment the 3 parts of the fuselage.
Aligning of the tail and the 3d part of the fuselage is another hard story! :?

Still much to be done.. Small details accually.. (e.x. white frame at the doors and emergency exits, Qatar flags and German flags since the A319 is rented from Germany, Qatar logo on the bottom, red wingtips, registration numbers e.c.t.)

I thought it was to do with the fuse since he only had the front 2 parts and not the third.
But everyone is right in saying it is hard to line up the fuse with tail.

Is anything being done to help that in the A380 textures?
Until anyone comes up with a sure fire scheme it's trial and error all the way...

Yeah.. I paint the files one by one in another folder so I wont overwrite any bmp by mistake. Then I move them to the folder of the aircraft to see how it looks..

BtW.. Does anyone knows what is the correct color for the Qatar Logo and the fuselage paint?
I use the color I see in Pics from airliners.net but it varies depenting on the light.
Oh And is there a way to make a color look a little bit metalic and not so "plastic" ?

(Maybe Tom could help by giving some tips ?

The colours can vary a lot on some liveries depending on the type of paint used; often metallic paints will have rather specific shine effects, and a glossier look will be more reflective (reflections and shine are two different things).

A slight difficulty is that most proofs / official logos available online are in CMYK format, and when converting to RGB it can vary. Qatar is tricky; both the grey and the dark purple look different depending on the light. I'd suggest these two:

The repaint of Qatar is nearly ready... The only thing left to do is to align the tail "Goat" with the 3d part of the fuselage... oh and to aply some shine!
I can say that with Tom's help with the selection of these colors it looks really nice! Sorry didn't had time to take some screens cz I am at work now... I will upload the full pack early in the morning though!

It's not a case of "not liking them", it's a case of you calling other people's hard work your own, which is what you've done. I know David Aquino and I'm sure he didn't give you permission, plus I don't see exactly what you've changed. Either way, you're being dishonest.

Seriously half of the shit you're complaining about in terms of painting, Aeroflot, is stuff Tom and I can easily do in 15-20 minutes.

The fact that

a) you didn't even bother looking for mistakes before uploading

and

b) you try and claim other people's work for your own

really makes me wonder exactly how skilled of a painter you really are.

Um.. PA guys? I have some white gaps at the top of the A/C... Where are these parts in the kit so I can paint them or should I leave the white?

P.S. There is even a Qatar Logo on the bottom of it!
