Help with new A380 files.

Greetings;

I am trying to paint the new A380-800 for our airline Global Air International.
With other aircraft models, I can use a program called FS Repaint V2.x by
Abacus Publishing. Also I have Adobe Photoshop 7, but when I access the .bmp
files I get a message "cannot open the file because the file format module
cannot parse the file".

I think the problem I'm having has to do with Alpha Channel, and that I should use
imagetool or DXTbmp.exe to resolve things.

Can anyone give me some help or a heads up as to what the problem is?

The files should be editable with Photoshop, however you would need to use DXTbmp to fix the file type. So opening it with DXT first would make it easier, you can just set photoshop as your editor.

Hi,

I tryed to paint the A380 too, but I had some problems. I tryed to open it with FS Repaint, but i got the message "FS Repaint cannot read or display this aircraft!".
I have this problem with all A380 aircrafts. What can I do?

The other prblem is, that i can't paint the A380, because in GIMP I see black Doors. When i deactivate the "Doors painted Outline..." layer, i have no Door Outline and only a white door. What is the problem? I really want to paint the A380!

You can't open it with FS Repaint.

Sounds like GIMP doesn't support Photoshop's effects
