APU / Cockpit sounds stops after some seconds

Hi,

first i want to say that the A319 FDEs are really awesome and its sweet to fly.
But, when i'm standing on the gate and have the engines shutted down, the APU sound stops after some seconds, as well as the Cockpitsound of my soundpack. Is there a posibility to change any parameter, so that the APU sound runs all the time and doesnt shut down? I think it sounds better than a quiet aircraft there on the gate.

I think it belongs to its FDE. I used it in my CRJ-700 (i know.. not really realistic :D ) and there was the same problem with the apu sound, using different model, aircraft.cfg and soundset. I guess there is some parameter in the FDE which may simulates the switch to GPU and shutting down the APU on the gate.

But i find it better if there is a sound on the in and outside of my standing airbus.

Yes, first i thought the same.

But as i said, i used the A319 FDE in the CRJ 700, and with a CRJ-700 soundpack. And there was the same mistake, that the APU sound stops. I also tested the FDE in my PMDG 737 but there was the same. And with the 737-700.air by PMDG it all works fine. And the only thing i changed was the .air File. So i think it must belong to the FDE File.

hello everybody!

what about this thread? i have the same problem. first at the a320 and the a319....... and now at the wonderfull a380.
has anybody an idea to fix that problem? i don´t like a silent flightdeck when i make my takeoff preparation. :-)

Ok we have to draw the line somewhere.

This is not a PA related issue because we havent released any sounds what so ever. Right now we'd rather concentrate our attention on support with issues that we can address.

We'd appreciate if no more posts relating to addons that are not supported officially by PA are posted on the forums in order to avoid confusing people any further.
