How do I make Transparent Polygons.

Post by Matt Tank » 06 Mar 2011, 06:25

Hey guys, this might seem like an odd thing for a painter to ask.

Does anyone know how I can remove the engines from an FS model without needing the source files to remove them.
I think I read either on the old Posky or iFDG forums that it can be done by Alpha Layers.

Need some help lol.

Regards

Matt

I highly doubt that is possible for engines, but i remember on the old POSKY forum changing the alpha to change antennae.

So if you can do it for antennae why wouldn't you be able to do it for engines?

'Cos the alpha on the engine textures is used for reflections. The antennas are not reflective

Fair Enough, its looking like I'll have to take a long shot and ask Hiroshi to remove the engines for me. otherwise I just leave the engines on it.
