Guys. Great news. Small suggestion. I love the double blinking strobes but is there anyway to make them blink a little faster, like a true strobe. Currently on the 321 they are just like a light going on and off quickly. They lack that real quick strobe effect. If at all possible.....

Competition and pioneering is NOT PA's goal. Such comments won't affect any members. PA lacks that kind of competitive environment. We compare with our best not with other's best.

Wonderful news. Question: will the VC models (cfmc7, cfme3 and iaeb2 for example) be getting this upgrade? Perhaps I'm thinking of the 2002 VC models...Sorry I haven't followed the versions so well.

Anywise, love your work and thanks for sharing the news!

This little beauty will be well worth waiting for. Hopefully my collection of repaints of the older one will still work, and without the "at the time" creative exhaust effects :) .

As others were saying, I think a separate model with sharklets would be a great idea. Airlines all over the world are making announcements they are ordering A320neo's and retrofitting their existing A320 family aircraft aircraft with sharklets. Most recently, jetBlue announced orders for A320neo aircraft, A321 aircraft w/ sharklets, and a retrofit of sharklets to all their existing A320 aircraft. In conclusion, you guys should really think about making a model with sharklets.

And Virgin America placed an order of A320neo's with sharklets

Awesome work! Just one question though: Is there a reason for not adding wipers to the exterior model?

Neither the Neo, or Sharklets are out on real aircraft in service.. that's why they're not going to be included.

There are hundreds of legitimate pictures by Airbus and on Airlines.net of sharklets on A320 test aircraft. A prime example right here, that we will know what they look like, nice and close up (http://bit.ly/iLzunc). You can't just say we don't know what they will look like. F-WWBA was the test aircraft registration and there are pictures of this aircraft with the sharklets (http://bit.ly/k3zjKl). Airbus is advertising exactly what they will look like on their website (http://bit.ly/jd5JB8). Over the past few days, at the Paris - Le Bourget Air Show, many airlines placed orders for retro fit of sharklets on there A320's (jetBlue and Air Asia are a few for example). There have been no specs on the A320NEO so I would understand that but the sharklets, there are enough photos and specs of what they are and what they will look like for you guys to add it to the PAirbus A320 v2.1. Just sharing my little opinion. .

Several designs were tested, and Airbus settled with Korean Air Aerospace's; if the remark there is to be believed, those are the Aviation Partner Int'l sharklets. Furthermore, even if there are photos of the KAA sharklets out there, we can't be certain they won't be revised before they're introduced.

Do you honestly expect us to work from a poor angle, low res commercial render?

Now, if Airbus would share with us their CAD drawings, we'd be more than happy to include them—till then...

I said in service.. test aircraft don't count. The real version may be adapted before being put into operation.. at any rate, the v2.1 will not have them....

Patience is a virtue, please have it if you can. The production and testing of a model is very time consuming for people who do it in their precious free time. That's freeware for you!

Will the FSX Models see a release after the FS9 Models? Or will you release them both at the same time? :)

Sam

Edit: I just remembered you didn't actually promise an FSX Model  The question is still valid? :?

It looks amazing!! I'm speechless. What you made in the last years. A380, A321, and then an update for the A320 is really nice.

Sorry if I didn't understand yet, but will there be a brandnew Paintkit for the PA A320 V2.1 or just can we use the already existing Paintkit?

Can't wait!!!

Any chance of you guys updating the Flaps/Slats assignments. When i'm on a real A320 I notice that they are at a different angle and they seem to stick out a little farther. Also was wondering if you have any plans on adding improved landing lights/wing lights/beacon light splash positions? When i'm flying on one for real at night I notice the beacon lights flash towards the end of the wings not the inside of them.

Your products have always been superior and definitely are the most commonly flown aircraft in my library. Kudos to you guys for your attention to detail with modeling combined with your superb textures and animations.
