"Sim-On-Ground" FSX Fatal Errors for all P'Airbus's

Post by Brett-Hill » 07 Oct 2009, 17:15

Hi

I have noticed that whenever I use any of the FSX SDK Compiled Airbus A318,A319, and A320's they all seem to crash FSX in Multiplayer no matter what server I try them on. I have Also noticed that Thomas Ruth Compiled a Multiplayer model within his a330's and AN124's. These multiplayer models he has included means it is possible to use his aircraft in multiplayer without CTD's this is because (and I quote from Thomas Ruth) "abandon the XML "sim on ground" query".
What I am asking is; is it possible to abandon the Sim on Ground Query in the a318,a319, and a320's, then recompile it in FSX SDK?

Thanks

FSX support will not be provided from PA. If anyone else wants to help out in their own capacity. Good luck

It's a pretty common problem actually; I'm surprised that no one has posted sooner....

Due to the numerous amounts of poorly modeled aircraft that are out there, many cause this kind error in FSX.

I have had this problem too with several freeware planes. However it is interesting that you do mention the AN124, that has been known to cause problems and 'Tom' has uploaded a model update that allows for you to use it in multiplayer. However this may be a bigger problem than just one aircraft. The best thing to do with issues like that is to go back to the last airplane you installed and physically remove ALL components to that aircraft, (which includes the plane itself, all gauges that come with it, textures, and sounds) and place it in a folder out of the FSX structure. If that does not take care of the problem, then remove the next plane, then the next... until the problem is taken care of. This does include ALL payware products. If you legally bought it, then you should have no problems re activating it again. PMDG has several posts on their website listing issues with Wilco products; however you can look that up yourself under their help section.

Hope this helps you out. Post back if it did, It worked for me.

Just as a side note, Pairbus and their aircraft have never caused issues with loading in multiplayer. It is a good and very clean model to load and use in multiplayer.

Sorry for my bad english (i am french).
I have the same problem when i used the A319 french republic on VATSIM.
On the ground and when i fly near an other friend whis the same airplane (10 milles) FSX stop.
I have another problem with the speed when the autothrottle is on :it is impossible to accelerate and the plane stall and i am obliged to put it on manual.
Thank you for your support.

Parlez vous au France?
Bonjur!

Here is my loosely interpretation of what I posted earlier in French just for you.

Once again, it only proves the point that FSX is trying to substitute a bad model and it causes your sim to crash. Please read my previous post before you post, as this is a common issue. It is NOT PAIRBUS's models which are causing this issue!

Thank you for the answer but i have seen your last post.
I think also that the problem is when FSinn load the list of the models.
But the last model istalled on FS is the PA A319.
Before whe never have this problem.
We continued the test .

Are you using the FSX specific compiled models? Because I never had such a problem...pairbus native FSX models doesn't use any xml animation control gauges placed in the panel folder...(like the project opensky models) the main problem could be the panel you are using...with the default A321 panel it works well in FSX...

Hi
We used whith my friends the A319 French Republic uploaded on the website RIKOOO and we have no problems with the A319 ifdg but it don't have a 3D panel.
We want any A319 for FSX with an operational 3d panel for using with Vasfmc 2.09 for training our pilots of the VA aerojetfrance.fr
Thanks

Could It Be the inclusion of the Default A321 VC that causes this in multiplayer...?

Good point. Maybe a gauge or something in the default VC config.

Thank you,
I don't modify the model loaded on the RIKOOO website.
Do you know an A319 or A320 could be used for us with VC on VATSIM?

No, i only fly in france once or twice a year.
The Overland A319 and A320 are good for payware. not to heavy on FPS but at the same time its not a complex thing to fly.

I have taken the aircraft right down to basics, no panel, one livery etc. It is evident that the problem is only caused when you see another fsx compiled pairbus. it is nessesary to use the fsx model to make it possible to use default VC's or any other VC's with the aircraft. There is more than just a handfull of people which would be happy to see a model compiled in fsx without the Sim-On-Ground in it. Im sure it would make it a much more appealing model for those on vatsim or any other server. If anyone does compile this fully fsx compatable model it would make pairbus the first people to produce fsx compiled and multiplayer compatable freeware airbus addons for FSX.

i have downloaded yesterday the project airbus A320 spirit airlines. When i was in free flight, everything was working good. Then i went to the free flight lobby in multiplayer and loged in to take a trip with some friends. Every time i turned the camera towards them and saw the first name, the FSX just crashed to desctop. But somehow i managed to fix this by doind THIS: i opened the panel.cfg and replaced THIS:

file_1024_night=airbus_a321_panel_background_night.bmp

Well, i think the problem had something to do with the virtual cockpit. That was about it all.I loged into a multiplayer session and tryed it again. There was NO MORE "fatal error" with this beauty ;) i was flying for an hour and everything was just..........PERFECT !!!!!!! :) ok guys, i hope this was helpfull.
If you like to check out the aircraft i'm talkin about, check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlteHP0X_uk
